Ugh...nervousness

Hi again!

I've made it to 8 weeks. If you don't know me- I've had several pregnancy losses in the past, and I am TERRIFED this time. I can't even place words to describe my fear.

I apparently found out I was pregnant when I was 3 weeks. A little too early to find out as far as I'm concered because these past 5 weeks have been terrible! Time isn't moving, I swear!

I had a scan at 5+6 and everything looked good. Only thing was the little one's heartrate was at 116, and they like to see it at 120 or above.

I was just wondering, do you think I should request another sonogram soon, before my 12 week scan? I just read of these poor ladies that the baby just stops growing, but they still go on to produce hcG and such, that has to be so heartbreaking. I've never had a loss like that- all of mine have been very early. So- I was just wondering what you all thought of my requesting another scan, just to make sure all is well??

I think you should request another scan if you are concerned. Stress can effect your baby so do everything you can to put your mind at rest and to discover if all is ok.

I hate going to the doctors and was very similar to you being concerned to ask for things BUT the next time i get pg i am going to ask for everything!!! You and your baby are important so dont be scared to ask away..
