U lot must hVe missed me! It's been 3 weeks!

This is ridiculous!!!!!
Same old breathing etc etc, temps still up and down etc etc.
Once again, he has a petechial rash (so the non blanching pin pricks).
Should I make a gp appointment next week? When he was on the iv drugs a few weeks ago the consultant said if it turned out not to be mg then she'd want it looked Into further. But she wasn't around the day he got the cannular taken out so I completely forgot.
This is the.... 5th time I think that hes had this bloody rash and even the doc said this just isnt normal. But is there a point going to the gp, because surely with all the bloods they have done on the child by now, they would have noticed anything major right? Xx

would it be worth trying to reach the consultant at the hospital by phone? When was Cahal was in with the rash (because of second round of immunisations though) the HV was absolutely useless when it came to asking if he should have the third round or not and said I would have to ask the consultant he was under at the hospital. I did manage to reach him in the end, might be worth a try for you too?

Oh no, poor you, and him I would definitely get it looked into further hun, chances are it isn't anything major but as the consultant wanted it looked into further it is worth it. Maybe go back to a & e again and explain it to them? They're bound to take you seriously if the rash is back and might be quicker than a gp referral? Hope it gets resolved soon xxx

I think I'd feel bad troubling a and e again. He's been sent there... 8 or 9 times now by a doctor. And he's not bad in himself. Well that's a lie lol. For the 10 or so hours a day he's awake he's screaming crying for about 5 of those. But it just seems "normal" for him at this stage. I duno, I guess I'll try get gp appointment when they reopen. If they are shite, looks like another a and e trip next time they come up.
What sucks, I know it will happen again, and I don't want to keep making my baby have all these tests! X

Bloody doctors. Our surgery is one of them.. Call at 9, u call at 9, they say call back at 5... Computer says no.
U call at 5, sorry all those appointments are gone now.
This went on for 3 days! Finally got him an appointment for tues. Its not an emergency so wouldn't ask for a dame day one. Rash spread a little more today. FUN! X
An yeah, he's def on a role! Which im hoping means he'll be the worlds healthiest toddler because we can't afford much more parking charges at the hospital! Xx

I've posted twice and it keeps sayin I've timed out ! Dam iPhone lol.
The secod time he had the rash, gp said nothing. Next day my daughter had hosp appointment. Dandong asked er consultant if he should've had some tests or something and he rubes him through to paeds and insisted they do bloods, but I'm not sure what for?
A and e have done blood each time, but nt sure what that was for either?
I'm sure it's not linked to the extreme irritability and breathing issues, by I just need to know that there is definitely nothin major causing it all iykwim? And that it's just him being, I duno, weird? Lol
Because everytime he gets the rash, i don't want to rush him to a and e, bit then at te same time, what if the one time I didn't, it did turn out to be something major?
I despise a and e, bit I can't take the risk when it could result in something so serious. Does that make sense? X

Just letting you know, GP has referred him to paediatrics! Hopefully they wont take too long!
Unrelated, but dont want to bore u all with anothr thread, C was laughing today and had his head back, and the roof of his mouth at the back, is REALLY pale, like white. But def not in a thrush way? ITs not a coating etc, its just the colour the skin/gum is?
Any of urs like this? x

Thanks baby bean. My daughter is relatively normal lol so never had any odd things with her!
Just looks really odd lol. It's normal colour, and suddenly goes really White/gray looking x
