Currently I have the steam pipe thing from the tumble dryer dangling out the kitchen window!! :rotfl:

But, when I have my kitchen re-done in the new year, they will have to move it so it's not in front of the radiator. The designer bloke said I could buy a box-type thing that the pipe will fit into that collects the steam. Apparantly it sits on the floor and you just have to empty the water out every so often. Unfortunately, he had no idea what it was called, or where I can get one from!

Does anyone have a clue what I am on about??!!?

yes, and i would try somewhere like currys.

I recon they would do it

try some electrical shop such as comet or currys :) Alternatively do you have a local hardware store?

Anytime :)

I would shop around though. Might be able it get it cheaper (oh the wonder that is EBAY! ). Also, check that it fits your machine.

its a condenser box i think, i used to have one at my old house, only thing to watch out for is that some require ice.

think mine cost a tenner from co-op electrical

we got 1 a couple of weeks ago cause our pipe is out the window and its annoying, and we took it back last week, a load of bloody trollop sure enouigh the kitchen still steamed up completely, may aswell have just left he tube on the floor!, we just bought another tube and stuck them together so it fits out the window. we got it from comet btw

Bit late now I know, but we have a washer/dryer and you don't need one of those cos the steam goes out the water waste pipe :)
