Another thing that is somewhat concerning me is the age of my partner...

He is 49 in July this year and I am in my 20s. I know your sperm count decreases as you get older but this is something that is worrying me slightly and making me think we may not conceive.

You could try every day and if nothing happens try every other day. I use cheap opks, but if you are dtd so much you don't need them. Better to keep it simple.

Yeah, that's what we've said we're going to do. We had a chat about it last night and agreed to just try every day for a while and see how that goes and if nothing happens then we'll try the every other day or 2-3 times per week route.
