TTC after depo

I had my Little boy 3 years ago and went straight onto the Depo, me and my partner have now felt that its time to start trying for baby number 2, I came off the depo the end of June and I still havnt had a period (I didn't have any during the contraception either) reading horrible stories online where some people didnt get back to normal ovulation for 18 months after coming off it and then they still found it very difficult to get pregnant. has anyone got any advice or tips to maybe help, or any words of reassurance?

Hello. It took me over 18months to get my periods back to being regular. I came off depo a few years before trying. I’m not saying the depo has stopped me getting pregnant but since coming off it i spot every month. This never happened to me before I went on it. Sorry I don’t have any tips but it would be good to get some insight into other peoples experience. Xxx

My periods took well over 18 months to come back to normal!
During that time It took me 6 months to actually get a period and the rest of the time I was having 14 days cycles!
I have shit progesterone now, and Im struggling to get it sorted.
I would try a few different vitamins and see what works for you. i found that Angus castus helped bring on my period and taking folic acid and B6 kind of helped! I actually thinks its trial and error working out what works for you. xx

I was the same 14 day cycles and I believe my progesterone is messed up because of it. Xxx
