Trying to keep the secret for a bit longer

Hi ladies can't believe i am posting here. Have been so negative about everything since coming off the pill thinking when the hell i am going to get pregnant. So done the text on Tuesday morning and got 2-3 weeks postive. Usually driving to work takes 20 minutes left the house an hour before work just to get my head around the idea. Still haven't told anyone yet not even dh. Would love to break it to him really nicely. Has anyone got any stories about how the let there oh know that they were becoming a daddy.

Oh i am so sorry didn't realise that happened. Hopefully all will be ok. Still can't believe it myself that we made a baby. Everyone of my friends are pregrant at the moment. So it still was/is a bit of a shock that it only took us 6 months.

That's fantastic news Heggie!

I told my other half on at the exact same place he proposed to me. It was total coincidence that i found out on the anniversary of the date he proposed, (not that he remembered) and so i bullied him into finding the same spot on a walk in the woods, and when we got there I gave him the test.

I really wish I would have told my OH in a much more romantic way
What happened for us was.. I wasn't expecting to be pregnant, but because my period was super late I used the last First Response test I had, two lines came up! I was in shock and just totally amazed. My OH shouted from the bedroom (I was in the bathroom), "Are you pregnant?" I said.. "Omg yes!" He said, "Promise?" I promised, then he said, "Swear to God?" so I did and then he came bursting in the bathroom and I burst out crying! He hugged me so tight and we just smiled and looked at each other and what not. He even said, "You could have done it a bit more romantically". But I was in so much shock I just couldn't take it all in.

I hope you find a good way to tell your DH soon!
Definitely try to do it romantically!
