Trying to concieve after c-section,

hi, i have a 7 month old son and i'm desperate for another baby. My partner and i have talked it through loads and agreed to try. i'm worried though because my birth with my first child was terrible. i had an emergency c-section due to failure to dilate and i had 2 infections which hospitalized me over christmas. i'm scared about having to have another c-section as i want a natural birth and i'm scared i will have problems due to having had a c-section before. Advise will be gratefully recieved

I put off having anoher child because my birth story was so horrific.
VBAC is more and more common with over 70% of women who have had c-sections are able to give birth naturally.
Speak to your midwife about it.
Unless there were further complications, you may well be ok this time around.

Im pregnant after having James 5 months ago. I had an emergency c section after a terrible 30 hour labour and the birth wasnt exactly pretty either.

I have just been told by the doc that they will watch me like a hawk throughout my pregnancy but by the time my scar is being stretched i will be 10 month post partum which is plenty of time to recover so he said so i can try a natural birth if there are no other issues but i have a very small pelvis which meant i didnt dilate as baby didnt come far enough down into birth canal (also cos he was huge) so its unlikely i will be able to have a natural birth.
