Today I took the plunge and tried my boy on soya cheese .. after 8 months of being Allergic to cows milk protein/soya/lactose

So far so good! No reactions, no sick, no poops.

Last time we tried around 5/6 months old he was sick about an hour after.

Wondering weather to just try him on soya again tomorrow and see how it goes, and carry on if all goes well and should I try him on dairy?!

Anyone else have experience of when their little one grew out of their CMPA? and how you tried it and found out?

Our girl had very poor weight gain until about 3 months which seem to have been due to a reaction to dairy and maybe other foods in my diet. She had watery mucusy poos with specks of blood in. I cut out lots of foods and she improved. I started eating some of the foods again that I had cut out a little before she started on solids at 6 months. It seemed to cause slight eczema but not diarrhea like before.

When she started on solids she could tollerate small amounts of yougurt or cheese but if she ate much it would give her a gassy tummy, slight diarrea, and eczema and sometines she would throw up. I didnt totally cut out dairy from her diet because the reaction wasnt severe but the amount she got was very limmited. She slowly improved and began to eat a bit more. I didn't try her on acctual milk until she was close to a year old. She didnt like it much at first but suddenly fell in love with it at about 15 months old and didnt want anthing else. I was loosing my milk supply by that time because of being pregnant so I think she drank milk as an alternative. By that time she seemed fine with all dairy products. I think she reacted to eggs too but she has never liked them and wont eat them on their own so only gets small amounts in other foods.

Our little boy seemed to be going the same direction when he was born so I cut out soy, eggs and dairy from my diet right away and he has been doing well. I need to try introducing the foods again to my diet to confirm he does have a problem with them but after the problems we had with our first not gaining weight I'm a kind of afraid so want to give him a bit longer to build up weight first.

Is your LO not under a dietitian due to the milk protein/soya/lactose allergies?
My LO is currently on a milk ladder to try in introduce milk in to her diet, she is currently on stage 4 atm. Just going off what the dietitian has told me is when trying to introduce a new food is try it over 4 days, try a small amount at first then more over the days. Maybe try that and see how it goes.

No we havnt got a dieticion. Terrible service where we live.
Done weaning etc all by internet knowledge really, not even my HV mentioned anything.
