Treated like I was a freak yesterday

Sorry rambling and semi pointless thread!! Went to a friend of a friends farm where they care for mental/physically disabled kids and adults. I had my dogs with me and the guys went off mountain biking for the day. I was then asked what I wanted to do when they went out on a -walking hack escorting autistic adults and my options were stay at the house or erm have someone stay with me on the walk and someone else walk my dogs? I was a little shocked with being given 2 options and not asked at all what I wanted to do. I soon realised she classed me as high risk being PG and unable to function normally! She meant well for sure for it did pee me off!! I replied well since I currently walk my 2 dogs 3 times a day can I walk with the ride unescorted? Honestly I am not broken!! Just pregnant!!! Saying that I apparently freaked the autistic lady out so sneers up walking separately for several hours with my friend instead. I swear she was ready to bring me a wheelchair for the walk!

Oh I know where your coming from, I'm getting sick of being treated like a poor little fragile flower, I just get on with it and ignore people! You should see the looks I get at the gym these days! And heaven forbid to lift something! It's our body and our baby so I think we know what we are or are not capable of! Only thing I've now found is my husband looks quite shocked when I do ask him to lift something that is really heavy, (we're doing a loft conversion just now so loads of heavy lifting) even though I probably couldn't lift it before pregnancy either!

Hehe yeah I think my Hubbie will find it funny when I ask him for help to lift/carry stuff too! Don't get my wrong I'm not superwoman but I just don't want people being worried about me being around or treating me so differently.
