well as you will know from my other topic's I am testing pretty much every morning as I'm three weeks late.

Thought it would be a nice idea for all us TTCers if we listed the good and the bad as far as pregnancy tests go....

I have used 2 boots own brand tests when my AF was first late and got neg's and I have since bought some ebay cheapies which are of a brand called Nova and have also just got BFN.

Are these ok brands/tests?

what tests do you recommend?

hey Dawn,
i got the Nova tests from ebay aswell and they worked fine for me, with both this BFP (dpo14) and the BFP i got with Evie (dpo 17) :? . Have you tried going to the doctor and getting a blood test instead of HPTs?

doc said I have to wait to see if I miss another AF before they will do me a blood test. :(

very annoying!

 i think the £3.68 ones from ASDA are great (own brand), its a 2 test pack and cheap but oh so good... showed BFP on me, then 2 days later i tested again to double check i hadnt imagined it, but with predictor this time and it showed negative!!! Arghhh i nearly died... but i WAS actually pregnant!!!

Im never buying predictor again ever!!!! :x

The ones from Tesco are really good too. They are really sensitive, i have used clear blue as well and got positive result on the day AF was due.

here here.....i agree... predictors poo!!!! Avoid like the plague!! :x

hi there girls

I used Clearblue Digital - five of them - all 'Pregnant' but I was NOT pregnant as confirmed by blood test

I will NEVER use them again.

I understood that you could not get a false postive but trust me - I had five...... and they are the most expensive!

I think first response are the best........

Thanks - hope this helps
