So I've googled a bit and am aware that the safest time to have anything done is second trimester however I have to get an impacted wisdom tooth surgically removed..

I'm bad with any dental work without the added extra of being pregnant with twins.. I usually end up having an anxiety attack or fainting and I'm dreading the pain afterwards..

It's not causing to much pain atm, I dont know if I should put it off till the babies are out or just suck it up and have it out before the pain gets worse or it gets an infection.

Anybody had a tooth pulled while pregnant before? Any advice :-(

I’m 31 weeks and when I’m I was in my 2nd tri I cracked my wisdom tooth. I went to the dentist and they make-shifted a cover up for it (which cracked the same day) and then said as long as I’m not in pain to get it removed when my baby is born. So I’m guessing your dentist will advise you to do the same unless your in agony!

Eeep it makes me so nervous! They want to remove it and I know tooth pain can go from nothing to bad so quickly as had it with my other but I dont want to cause any extra stress toward babies or anything either :/

Does local anesthesia go to the baby? My wisdom tooth was fully out so they only used local numbing and just pulled it out! The sound it made while pulling was a bit strange but I had no pain. I was not pregnant at the time though. I think I would wait before having anything done during pregnancy!x

They've said they would only inject numbing agents and have to cut it out and stitch it shut after and that I can only take panadol after.. I'm dreading the pain as I get s little ache now and then but I'm hoping I can wait till full term.. however i dont k no ow how it works if i bf either.. everything on google says it's safe in second trimester but I'm carrying twins so double hormones and everything, dont know if that changes things either..
