wisdom tooth and abcess :(

It came throught badly yesterday and now I can barely open my mouth wide to eat any suggestions on what to take to ease the pain,

got mouthwash this monring but because its the wisdom tooth at the top of my mouth its hard to get with the mouth wash Getting really annoyed now its sore but not throbbing pain

ooh thats really nasty, i think id just take co dydamol or something lol but you should go to an emergency dentist really, and get it sorted! hate tooth problems they hurt a lot x

yeah i agree with lexi and would go to dentist as you may need some anti-biotics. better safe than sorry when it comes to teeth defo need to look after them especially when preggers xx

I only know you can take paracetamol, but see if you can get a slot with an emergency dentist tomorow , as it really sounds like it needs sorting. Hope it didn't ruin you xmas day and dinner too much.

what about using a straw to get the mouthwash into your mouth for today, (just don't drink it!)

rang NHS direct, told me just atke paracetomol and use mouthwash and gel to numb it got dentist in jan about 12th but duno if i can wait that long

Oh you can't wait that long! Ring the dentist tomorow and change to an emergency slot, they should have ones they keep open for these scenarios!

when I had problems with my wisdom teeth I was told paracetamol but then when it got really bad they gave me cocodoamol and also clove oil is good xx
