Too much lanolin ?

I use this on nipples as they got sore, its easier now milk has come in and latching on better too. But figured it cant hurt to continue with cream now, can it? Keep them soreness free.

Can u overuse? Make nipples too slippery maybe? Might sound an odd question but i thought during a couple of feeds today that he was struggling to find nipple and to latch on. Could this be due to too much cream ?

Should i now only use when sore, rather than a preventative/barrier after every feed regardless??

He is right over the nipple and just shakes his head as if he cant find it - sound odd?

It can make it harder for them to latch, but that doesn't mean you can't use it still, just that you have to be careful how much and might need to wipe some off before a feed. I apply after every feed to protect and repair. I find the medela one to be a lot greasier than the lansinoh one.
