I tried not to judge in ur other post but I'm just angry now. I'm not perfect but I would do anything to give my baby the best start in life

Why are you angry?
Are you assuming that i wont?

The healthy start begins in ttc, not after bfp!

It is YOU that wishes an unhealthy child upon yourself by taking drugs during the most critical stages of pregancy IF you get pregnant, becuase i doubt you time your lines with your non fertile times.

You would risk permanent damage to your child becuase you want to party? You are a child yourself if you have that perception on life

Men - recreational drugs: cannabis and alcohol cause sperm abnormalities, cocaine lowers libido as well as sperm motility and count
Women - cannabis - stops ovulation and interrupts menstruation

So a couple that do all of the above are going to have a real healthy baby, if they even manage to conceive!

If cannabis stops ovulation and causes sperm abnomalities, and cocaine lowers sperm count, then the chance of conceiving is low while all that is in your system?

If cannabis and alcohol cause sperm abnormalities then there's a chance the baby could have an abnormality too?

Not wishing anything on anyone, just making an observation!

Titch, it does make my blood boil sometimes!! I feel iv had a bit of a rant between the 2 threads on this subject!! I'm not perfect and have my glass of wine on a Friday night! I just wish some people could see some kids I see. It would make anyone change their ways in a heartbeat! X

If people don't want to change or take the advice then there isn't a lot you can do.
I work in paediatric healthcare and also see the mess some people make of their children, it's hideous but there's no telling them x

Firstly I'm not defending this girl in anyway, or backing up her deluded "its ok to do whatever until I get my bfp because any time before that isn't important" attitude. Just wanted to say that my oh and I smoked weed up until I found out I was pg and Gracie is a perfectly healthy baby in every way! However we weren't ttc at all and she was a complete surprise! I stopped as soon as I found out but it didn't stop the worry that it had done some damage in those first crucial couple of weeks! So yes a couple that do all of the above can have a real healthy baby and conceive without even trying! Your attitude stinks just as much as hers!

But if you still want to enjoy as much time with your BF as you can why are you TTC because that baby needs 24/7 1-1 care the BABY comes first NOT partying or your BOYFRIEND you have alife long commitment to that child. Just take a step back and ask yourselves are you really ready for a family if you still want to party all the time. (odd accosion of course but every weekend etc...)

Yes it is my opinion and both me and my partner used to smoke, and I dont really think the sarcastic smiley was very mature of you. But thats my opinion also, and this is a forum we are all aloud to express our opinions.

I disagree that you cant have a child on cannibis as I know atleast 20 people that have had healthy babies. Including me, my mum was a 17 yr old she and my dad smoked dope and here I am, a bright girl doing well for herself.

I agree with the girls though that the health of your baby does start at ttc, but there are alot of junkies out there who manage to concieve on heroin.

I understand why all the girls in here are angry because of the laid back attitude when girls in here are doing all they can and have been and they may see what you are doing selfish.

Thats my overall opinion, i am open minded and mature and agree with some aspects on each side ie its not impossible to not concieve whilst smoking weed and it does not mean that you will automatically have an unhealthy baby. But on the other hand if you really are serious about ttc i think you should quit the drugs and partying for a while and focus on getting your body healthy to give you and your baby a good shot
