Toddler might have Asthma

I was told today that my little boy might have asthma or it could be just a virus. I'm hoping its the latter. Has anyone come across the same problem?

Yes when my baby was 8 months old he caught a bad case of bronchiolitus (sp) and then for a few months afterwards he was wheezy etc. We were told he most likely had asthma, he was given a blue inhalor to take as and when the wheezing got bad, and a brown one to have everyday... we used them for a few weeks and he was fine!
