Bit of a silly question sorry! But my little boy has just grown out of his all-in-one swimsuit so need to get him a new one. What do you all put your little boys in for swimming? My little boy is 2 and I'm thinking the all in ones might start to get tricky for when he needs the loo! So was wondering if its ok to just get him some swim shorts, just worried he might be too cold or am I being over the top?! There's the swim shorts and tops as well aren't there. Thanks in advance xx

Hi hun, Garry has been in just trunks since about 6 months as the pool he swims in is warm, he dies where the all in one when he goes to another pool as its cooler but he's now 15months n has more trunks n shorts than all in ones. I think with potty training it's defo the way forward.

You can get swim suits that come as a two piece, so basically long shorts and a top with sleeves. How about something like that?

I've seen them in Boots and Next.

Oh Durhamchance I like that mickey mouse one! Might have to pop into matalan at the weekend!

We do a Nemo all in one surfsuit that I adore! I want to take Blake to twinlakes in Melton Mowbray this summer as they have an outdoor splash park and he'll need something like this :)

Oh thanks so much for all your replies you've really helped me out! Thanks for the Matalan link, so cute!!! Will have a look in there over the weekend xxx

My Son is 2 and is absolutely fine just wearing shorts. He kicks about so much he keeps himself warm. We spend a good hour in the pool too x
