For the past couple of days I've been getting a small amount of slimy discharge when I wipe  . It's clear with a very slight tinge of yellow. Also BHs have been a bit more frequent. Please say this is normal  as I don't want her coming this early.

Oh Hazel!! So glad you've posted this... I don't know if it's normal but I've had LOADS of BH, I'm timing them at the moment as I thought it was a worrying amount, I'm also getting other wierd things happening and yellowish discharge like you said! I just thought that was normal so I hope someone replies to confirm it

Are your BH getting a bit uncomfortable? Mine aren't painful by any means, just uncomfortable and getting VERY slight back ache... x

I would give the midwife a phone. Chances are it is normal but a yellow coloured discharge doesn't sound very good. Same goes for you Dannii! It could be a baterial infection. I got one a few weeks ago and was given anti-biotics, cleared it right up!

I would get the midwife, doctor or nurse to do a swab on the discharge to check it out! Is it itchy? Could be thrush which is normal in pregnancy and not harmful if treated.

Regarding braxton hicks quite normal as long as they're not painful and nothing to worry about.

Yep, exactly the same. The only reason I've noticed them is because of the back ache but just put it down to overdoing it when swimming on Fri.

I haven't had many BHs previously but the past few days they seem to have started more regularly.

No, no itching. Never had thrush before.

Try not to worry about the BHs. I was getting them daily around the same time as you. My midwife told me that it was a good sign that labour would start naturally as the body is basically practising. If theydo become painful phone the hospital or your midwife!

My discharge isn't itchy either.. & I've never had thrush so I wouldn't know the signs.

Seems a bit spooky how we're getting the same Hazel!

I've posted in "Ask A Mum" and edited it since my last post on Friday, so when I start getting replies, you could check them out as they might be useful for you too  xx

How often are you getting them Dannii as you are timing them?

My boobs started leaking last week also so accompanied with this I've started to worry.

I've been getting a yellow egg white discharge from the time i got preg, and have had every test to see what it was all came back clear and was told by the nurse that somtimes in pregnancy women get it. i've been getting BH too but only about 2-3 times a day about once a week

Mine are going like this;

08:05:46 pm until 08:06:34 pm (48 secs)
07:51:07 pm until 07:52:15 pm (1 min, 8 secs)
07:43:18 pm until 07:43:58 pm (40 secs)
07:29:02 pm until 07:29:50 pm (48 secs)
07:11:04 pm until 07:11:56 pm (52 secs)

Are you just going to hang on unless they become really painful?

xx

Oooh, I'm not getting anything like that many. Might be worth giving mw a ring just to check. How is baby moving?

My BHs aren't getting any worse or better since yesterday so I'm going to wait it out. I'm going to check about discharge though as I might have caught something when I went swimming  .

When I had a poo last night and this morning there was lots more of it, sort of egg white stuff :puke: .

Tried ringing mw this morning and her phone is turned off :wall: . I will try her again later this morning.

Hmm.. do you think it might be your plug?

Hope you manage to get in touch with your Midwife soon

Got hold of mw and she wasn't concerned. Asked if I had any itching (which I don't) and asked me if I thought it was an infection (which I don't). Said it's normal to get increased fanny snot so just keep an eye on it.

She's probably thinking silly first time mum.
