Hiya
For the past week or so iv noticed an increase in discharge but over the past couple of days its been really thick with a yellow, even greeny tinge
I'm really embarassed to be posting this but wanted to know if anyone else has been getting it like this? Could I have an infection?

It could be an infection...Greeney discharge (I have read online) can be a sign of the baby opening it bowels (like what can happen in the waters)

I doubt this is it though. I think that discharge is very green. But would get checked out...as if it's an ifection you would need antibiotics.

Could just be plainold discharge. Think it increases the more pregnant we are.

Putting your mind at rest is a good idea though

Theres no itch or anything so hoping it is just cos im pregnant.
I have midwife tomorrow, suppose she will need to have a look!!
Thought I'd got away with having to get my bits out before the actual birth!

could just be thrush hun? sometimes all you get is a discharge with it.

i would defo mention it to mw tomorrow

ive been having a yellowish thick discharge, ended up being thrush....
Not sure about the greenish tint...
deffo ask your midwife tomoz hunny!

i just rang my labour ward for you to save you waiting till your mw appt!



they said as long as its just discharge that is green then thats fine, its only if your waters are green that they panick because it means the baby has passed a stool before labour

I had something very similar and it turned out to be thrush...luckily I didn't have to get my bits out Just decribed it to dr and they prescribed canisten and said to go back in a week if there was no change.
