I've heard of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, but can it occur this early in pregnancy? I think i'm about 7 weeks but the tingling in my right arm and fingers is so strange. Never had this before. Anyone else? xx

I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome in the 1st trimester , apparently it is due to pregnancy hormones and is really common .My right arm and hand would have a tingling feeling in it and i couldn't grip things in my hand properly , I found that raising my arm for a few minutes above my head worked , i was also told if the problem carried on or got worse my gp would refer me to physio.
Luckily now i only get it happening now and again and im currently 33 weeks , i was told it will disappear once the baby is delivered and the hormones have returned back to normal so i can live with it for a few more weeks .
I would book an appointment to see your gp or ask your midwife regarding your symptoms , they will be able to assist you further ... good luck x
