Time to get me an October baby!!

Thought Id start off a positive fun thread for the TTCer's in January!!

I have always wanted a little halloween baby. If we concieve this cycle, Ill be due early October. If we concieve next cycle I will be due bang on October 31st!!

I do know babies come when they like my first came 2 weeks late, but I still have hope

Anyone else wanting a specific month to be due?

The pressure is off this month for me, no OPKing. Just good old fashioned regular sex with some Slide n Ride C+ thrown in...

I'm hoping for a Jan BFP which would put me at the end of September - which would be perfect for school and term times, however I'm really not fussy! Myself and OH have a few days off together around ovulation which hopefully will work in our favour!

Ah I see, I live in Scotland so technically a July baby wouldv been best but we had only just had a loss at that time. We have a January baby so looking to perhaps not have another due January, OH is the 3rd and my LB is 9th!!

Fair play!! Obviously if it happened last couple of cycles Id have been over the moon. But we are cycle 4 from our sudden loss so to save myself from getting obsessed Im relaxing, but Id love an October baby. Halloween is my fave time of year!! Even more than Christmas! I wish I lived in America at halloween, they go to town.

Yeah we have OHs cousin Jan 1st, OH Jan 3rd, my wee boy is Jan 9th, FIL Jan 12th, Im February 25th which I have always hated, Ive always been the youngest. Making our school cut by 2 days. Then we have loads of family birthdays during the year. I felt so isolated having a Jan baby. I never got out due to bad snow and yes it was lovely spending time cooped up but Id have loved the option.

Id also hate to be heavily pregnant in the summer, so we've missed that girls. No sweaty bumps Ill be 5-6m next summer if we do it. I can cope with that.

I like the idea of September/October too as we have loads of birthdays in June and December. Plus hubby is really busy with work December/January so later would not be ideal.

I've just arrived back from an xmas weekend skiing so I am hoping to have conceived a little Swiss baby.

Apparently September/October is such a common birth month due to cold nights and festivities

Im fertile around Jackson's 3rd birthday, which would be such a lovely time to concieve.

Halloween birthday parties would be fun too. We had a lovely Halloween party last year that my kids all loved! X

Yes!! The season of Uggs, baggy clothes, hoodies and leggins!! Im self conscious at summer now, nvm pregnant

Aw that sounds lovely. I wasnt brave to g-hostlol: intended) J a halloween party but they do loads at nursery.

We go to an annual event in club NOIR. Its like a burlesque event but people really get into it.

And to hide my fat in big jumpers would be nice
My babies have all been spring/early summer so to have a autumn/winter baby would be amazing

I would really like a September baby. My birthday is in September, so it would be nice to share our birth month, plus I always felt that I had a bit of an advantage on kids born later in the school year, having had that little bit of extra time before starting school. I know some people say it doesn't make a difference, but I feel like it did. For purely selfish reasons I would love to be on mat leave next Christmas, but wouldn't want to give birth close to Christmas, so if I don't fall pregnant in Jan, then an Oct or Nov baby would also be nice!

As much as I would like an October baby I think my partner would have a melt down as not only is it my birthday but it's our double anniversary too lol.

I guess it would be lovely, I really hoped that we'd concieve on my anniversary as I oved on the same day but sadly no. At this point I'm happy whenever as I'm getting impatient
