do u guys get this where u feel like u cant get a deep breath? I have no idea if i am being weird.

No but my OH does lol...i think it is more to do with anxiety with him though? Mention it to your Midwife just in case :) xxx

Just found an article on breathlessness, as I remember reading something similar.
"Any breathless you experience in the first or second trimester is likely to be a result of the pregnancy hormones affecting your respiratory system. 'Pregnancy' hormones such as progesterone stimulate your lungs to adapt to your body's changing needs and help your body to process oxygen and carbon dioxide more efficiently. "

aww thanks for that i had looked some stuff up to and was thinking it was "a pregnancy thing" so easy to start worrying urselfe tho thanks again x

yes i get this on and off maybe once or twice a day for about 30 seconds, my chest feels like theres pressure on it and then it goes. I wonder if baby is leaning on something down there!! xx

I know what you mean, like you just aren't getting enough air no matter how deep you breathe? I've put it down to pregnancy and decided I'd get it checked out if it got worse :)
Thought I was going crazy at first though :/ ha ha
xx

I get this when every time I get a braxton hicks. It literally takes my breath away. Is it that or are doing nothing and it comes on?

dnt think its that as ive not had them... It just comes like i could be sitting watching telly then start to think im not breathing right...... I honeslty think im a freak somtimes hahahahah

I get this too. Its just random. I was lying on the sofa last night and couldn't get a deep enough breath!! Its like something is sitting heavy on your chest. I've also read that its a pregnancy thing. Flip sake, everything I have these days is a "pregnancy thang" haha x

I've just started getting this - Sunday and Monday it felt like I was really struggling to get my lungs full, but then it went away by Tuesday. It was really scary though! Seems to be just baby squashing up a bit. Hope you feel better soon :)
