Does anyone else have a tight belly sometimes?? I wanna say it feels exactly like braxton hicks but obvs way too early for that... it's usually when I exercise just feels tight and hard on my teeny weeny bump
I'm supposed to see midwife today but she hasn't confirmed getting a bit worried..

It's perfectly normal. Sometimes my bump feels wobbly, sometimes it's like rock. It depends on what I'm doing. We've had this chat in our July mummies thread and lots of us get the same and have since had our scans and all has been perfect.

Try having an orgasm and feel how hard it goes then, lol. It's just muscles contracting due to activity. X

Yes agree with GG, we've mentioned this before. I get it too. All good as long as it doesn't get painful I'd not worry. Just take a break and maybe have some water

Orgasms in third tri are even more freaky lol xx

I never got them until the third tri with my other two, used to be able to see the baby shape! But i was far along so I didn't worry... this time i'm early so i'm panicking lol!

no pain just really tight...but then I wasn't fit at all with my other two, this time I've probably got quite a lot of muscle tone on my tummy maybe that makes a difference?

That will definitely make a difference.

ah thanks guys, I feel a bit better now!
It's been going on all morning since I had a little jog..do you get that too?

Yeah I'd agree that will make a difference and especially if you're excercising. I get mine mostly when I'm doing a lot so maybe if you feel it take a break for a minute xx

Jogging with the extra weight will put extra strain on the ligaments supporting the bump so yes, all of the soft tissue will want to contract to prevent itself from being strained. It's likely to last a good few hours after the exercise. Remember to warm up and stretch really well and do some low impact bouncing or jogging to start off, staying on the balls of your feet will do this. It'll help the ligaments to not be shocked into tightening up so much. X

Mine does that all time even more so lately my Midwife said it’s the position of Willow and now I can tell when she has her back to my belly as it’s rock hard then and when she’s turned it’s soft, I do get pains as she pushes against my ribs and sits on nerves but I’m 29 weeks on Monday so mine could be different to you not sure with this been my first xx

yes, it's very normal later on... even exciting! because its like practice contractions, was just a little unsettling as i'm only 15 weeks!

Perhaps i'll take it easy a bit more..I'm up at 6 every morning and out until very late, a day off would be like a holiday! haha

I need a day off so bad!! I almost got one just now...my boss was like 'you can have Thursday off!...wait..no never mind' I got a nice 12 hour shift instead whihc is almost as good I suppose! PAHAHA

You can have braxton hicks from the very start. With each baby you will feel them sooner. I've felt them from 12 weeks with this one and it's my third.
