Thrush?

I had my baby on the 9th august so he is 12 days old. Over the last few days its been quite itchy down below.. at first I mentioned it to my partner who said it was probably my cut healing. I've never had thrush, but could it be that?
It itches, feels a bit uncomfortable and a bit swollen or sensitive I cant tell. Also cant tell about discharge as im wearing pads but still getting a slight bit of blood..
How would I know for sure? Xx

I'm also in the same boat. It itches all over down below not just where the stitches are. I can only assume its thrush as I've had it before and feels identical... I'm going I use some canestan and see if it helps x
