Threatened miscarriage.

Hi,
So on Friday evening I had pink discharge. It stopped however this afternoon I started to spot. Watery bloody and a few dots of blood in it. On wiping. The urgent care have booked me in for a scan on Tuesday. I’ll be 4/5weeks ish from conception by LMP 6 weeks 6 days.
Has anyone had this? I’m thinking the worst if i’m honest. It’s not heavy and i’m not in pain but i’m worried this is the start of something.

Oh hunny it's all worry isn't it.
Iv told you Iv bled bad in both pregnancies but everyone is different.
I don't think anything we say will comfort or reassure you but just keep hold of hope that your little bean is tucked away nicely and isn't going anywhere.
Spotting and bleeding can be normal for some.
It's always going to be a worry when your pregnant and see blood. It's not something you associate with a healthy pregnancy. But I have two children tucked up on bed who are here and I bled horrifically with both.

It could go either way to be honest. The fact you have no pain and the bleeding is light are good things. Do you feel pregnant? Any symptoms yet? You could take a HPT and see if the line is dark or has gone really light. It won't confirm anything but might shed some light on what your HCG levels are doing. I hope the spotting stops quickly and your baby is alright x

I have a bit of nausea still. Peeing for England and my boobs are sore off and on. So it all looks good.
Still no pain. It might all be fine and this pregnancy i’m going to be prone to spotting. X

Haha yeah i’m constantly on the loo peeing. I think that’s a good sign though so i’m just trying to think of that.

I've gone back and forth over weather or not to post as i hate making others worry.
I thought i knew everything to do with pregnancy since i've had 7 babies. My last pregnancy ended in mc. I started with pink spotting but still had all my symptoms so i was hopeful things would be ok the midwife told me the symptoms can take weeks to go away.

Aw bless you. I know this unfortunately I’ve been doing some reading. I’m hoping they are gonna do some blood tests to measure HCG. I think that’s the best way to see if things are progressing. I’m going to push to have this done if they don’t offer it. Thankyou for your advice. I appreciate all input from people.

I've had one baby and one miscarriage. In my successful pregnancy I had a bleed at 15 weeks which scared the living daylights out of me but baby was absolutely fine - midwife said it was really common.

Thankyou firstfreakout. I’m trying to think positively but I was a mess Yesterday. Feel better today and still no more bleeding

With mc i had pink spotting everytime i wiped. It never stopped just gradually changed to full on bleeding within a few hours.
Mine wasn't aslong as yours either i started bleeding thursday morning had my 12 week scan that day which confimed what i already knew and passed everything by friday evening.

Hoping I can be of some reasurrance for you. I am 10+2 today. I have had pink/brown spotting since I missed my period all those weeks ago. It's o my just settling. This was also accompanied by pain/cramps. I was referred to EPU at 4/5 weeks as I have had a previous ectopic and I have 1 fallopian tube. It was not ectopic. They checked my hcg and it was rising appropriately and they kept seeing me until they seen baby in the sac with a heartbeat. I have paid for several private scans since last one was last Wednesday and baby is fine. No signs of where any bleeding is coming from. I have been told I might just be one of those who spots during pregnancy. They have ruled out infection and checked my cervix too but everything seems to be as it should. I hope it settles for you xxx

Aw thankyou Aurora and mummy. I’m still bleeding free and no pain so I’ve got everything crossed. Think gonna be ok this sinnot something I’ve had in my previous preganancies but this is my first with my fiancé. I’m feeling quite calm and will see how things are at the scan

Aw that’s a long wait bless you. My scan is 11:25. So will fill up on water an hours before that.
