Has anyone else had one? We have been thinking about it for a while. Want parents n big sis to come. We wont be having anymore children n thought it would be nice to keep as you get dvd n pictures. Its £190.00, if youve had it done is it worth it?

Thanks xx:)

I didnt get one with a dvd just pictures, but it was totally worth it, and great for the family to be able to see baby aswell cause they than start bonding with them cause theyve seen its lil face already!

Agreed it was amazing. It was fascinating seeing her movements and facial expressions from such an early age. We went at 26 weeks and her face was chubby but the rest of her was skinny.

£190 sounds alot though, I paid £95 got a 15 min DVD 18 pictures 5 of which were printed 7x9 and 1 A4.

They do sound lovely but that's alot of money to be parting with at xmas time for me.
I didn't have them with my others, so I feel like I shouldn't with Devon to be fair! silly I know, but 8 years ago plus these were not invented yet!

We thought about it and OH was all for it but I was the hesitant, slightly resistive one!

It does sound like a nice idea if you can afford it and a lovely bonding experience for all. I was only hesitant because I wanted to wait to see what he looked like and 'meet' him when he was born.

I got one at 28 weeks and it was amazing - paid £105 for it got loads of printed photos, a CD with all the photos and a short DVD.

I got it done at the Leeds Screening Centre and they do the full growth measurements and check everything, and it was then that we found out that the baby wasn't growing properly and the blood flow in the cord was poor. And I'm so glad we went, as I can't bare to think what might of happened to the baby if we hadn't found out.

My advice would be to make sure that they do more than just take pretty photos of the baby, as if you are paying a lot of money you want to make sure youre getting your moneys worth.

i had one at 28 weeks, it ws amazing but only cost £65!
i had one with my son and it was £200....it was better quality & i got a dvd with pics n videos n loads of print offs.
But tbh for what i got with the £65 one, i got 20 printed pics n then she emailed me the rest, id rather that.
BUT seen as its your last child id say go for it!

we went for the £175 package which was the top one, deffo worth every penny, had a hr worth of scannin, 80 pics, 15 minutes of wiggling and facial expressions on dvd, 4 photos & cds that you can re-produce, we used the health in pregnancy grant money cos its for baby n i really wanted to go for it,

i went as late as possible at 30+4 (they would only do it up until 31wks cos otherwise u dont see much facailly cos there gettin too big and a little squished) and was fantastic cos it looks like a real baby, but found out ours was 3lb12oz so a little chunky monkey too, sooooo cute!!

were in south yorks and went to http://www.babyview.co.uk/ at barnsley, theres a good 1 at escape at castleford too if u wud wana travel that far?
