Thick sticky discharge?

I was woken up this morning with period pains and some lower back pain. Just been to loo and noticed a thick, sticky discharge, kind of stringy (TMI ). Could it be some of my mucous plug coming away?

Oh god I so hope so...I REALLY don't want to be pregnant anymore I want to meet bubs Not much has really happened today other than some lower back pain. I've got a busy day tomorrow though so hopefully that'll speed things up

ive been loosing my plug for ages and have been having pains for the last 4 days but ive had bad period pains today.. surely i cant be gettin near labour this early!!! but yep thats deffo ure mucus plug.. lovely isnt it

i lost mine at 32 weeks and im still waiting. been havin some contractions today but nuthin regular! i know she is gonna make me wait til as long as possible!
