The dreaded heartburn omg help!

you know what people have said to me.. the heartburn id going to hurt,
and i was like nah it wont be tha bad, and then i was out last night and i had the worst heartburn ever.
i had to sit down it was so painful
mummys going to go out and buy some gaviscon or rennies.
what work better?

well i thought the soft mint rennies were great,

and i agree it does hurt, feels like your insides are on fire argh, i hate it..

In theory, Gaviscon should work better than Rennies, because Rennies only contains antacid ingredients, whereas Gaviscon contains antacid ingredients and an ingredient to form a "foam raft" over your stomach contents to prevent the acid refluxing back up in the pipe.

My heartburn was just in my throat until the last few days, but now it's gone right down to my chest. I was going to try not to take anything for it, but I think I'll need to mention it to MW on Thursday and see what she suggests x
