Got given this book by a friend the other day, Looks like a bit of fun, Ive just picked it up and the first page is this..

"Top 10 lies about pregnancy"

10 - Lamaze Works.

9 - Morning sickness is gone by lunchtime.

8 - Maternity clothes are so much cuter now.

7 - You will have your pre pregnancy figure back in three months, especially if you breast feed.

6 - Oil massages prevent stretch marks.

I read this book a while ago as it was recommended in the Mother and Baby magazine - It's fantastic and I couldn't put it down! It's so refreshing to read something light-hearted that is pregnancy related, rather than the usual 'do's and don'ts' books that can lead to paranoid and anxiousness!!!

i have this book too and also the follow ups: best friends guide to motherhood, and guide to toddlers....

i have read them over and over again - they make me laugh so much!
