Hey girls!
The MIL has departed you'll be pleased to hear! Things did get better and we came to a compromise about what to do yesterday - we went for lunch (with the dog in the car so we could see him from the window - we walked him first) and then left the dog at home and went charity shopping. I bought 2 lovely ceramic jars to store flour in - not a necessity when I'm skint - but very lovely - I fell in love with them! I love love love buying housey things! Anyway it was exhausting having them here, so we're now having a chilled out weekend.
Emmy - hope its going okay with your MIL? Thinking of you.
At the moment, we're just watching the football - Scotland have just scored to bring the match to a draw so its jubliant here! I think we have to win to go through though - it'll be a shame if we don't as there has been so much build up and excitement to this match.
Ella is fine and dandy - she learnt to blow raspberries last Sunday (can't remember if I already told you this?) so we keep getting lots of rasps and smiles and happy grins. Today she was doing the biggest laughs when we were singing the national anthem to her before the football, she seems to find it hilarious when Mummy sings to her.
I had some 'me time' this afternoon and had 3 hours off and went to the shops. Due to roadworks though, it took 1 hour to get there and another 45 mins to get home (usually 30 mins travel to out of town shops on a good day), so I only managed a quick hour round the shops and I HATE shopping in a hurry (get all stressed). Anyway I bought
this for Ella to wear on Christmas morning using vouchers we were given when she was born and
this to add to her growing Christmas pile of presents (its actually from 6 months on the box, don't know why it says 1 year on the website)! I have bought lots of wee things for her Christmas when I've seen them - some from charity shops and some cheap wooden toys and some things from the local NCT sale - think I've got pretty much everything I wanted now - some lovely books, some toys, the post box, a V-tech walker (second hand) and the M&P ladybird rocker. I think she will be a spoilt girl!
jm - agree you should go swimming alone - unless you need OH to drive you? Its always more fun when you both do things though, isn't it, especially when you are on your own all week.
SC - I can't believe you bought £200 of Ann Summers stuff - tell us what you bought! I am still feeling so unsexy from having a baby and b/feeding - I'm very jealous!
What is everyone else up to this weekend?
Leckershell, missac, cloud - where you at? It's very quiet on here!

to all
Valentine Xxx
Edit - Just seen your post maybebaby -
