Hey ladies

Hello to you all and hope you and all of the babies are well.

Just wanted to let you all know that I won't be around as much anymore, my life has got busier and I just don't have time to keep up with the thread anymore especially now it has grown so much

You may well see me butting in on the odd occassion to post a reply or a quick hello but apart from that I am resigning from the here I am section after a valiant year of posting.

Good luck and love to all of you ladies and babies , I will be checking up and reading up on you so behave!

I'm not an original poster KK and probably partly to blame for the size of the thread. Maybe trixi, me, n&j and leckershell should have or should start our own similar thread to make this smaller and more manageable for you April girlies. I could still pop in and read what you are all up to?

Anyway - hope I've not contributed to you leaving, sent you a PM .

I am online too much at the moment anyhoo. Definitely need to sort out the lure of the computer and do more with DD.

I think Here I am is just evolving, a few of us who were about at the start just don't have the time to keep up, that doesn't mean anyone has to go anywhere
I didn't think your thread was offensive Sarah, V you're not going anywhere!! Let me tell you that for one (or Trixi/ Nic etc etc etc )

I know recently I've been just updating you on whats happening with us more than responding to everyone, cos its a mission and a half to do that these days We're like washer women nattering on I'm as bad as everyone else, so no complaints from me.
It is lovely to see what everyone is up to and what their babies can do now....

SC - Damn Humphreys Corner, its dangerous getting hooked on a brand/ character like that isn't it. I just thought £85 - blimey!! I guess cos I buy bits n dribs and drabs, I don't realise what I'm spending

Well, we've been into town today with Jo & Dylan, Libby did the most almighty poo through her vest & her tights & her top had to go to H&M to buy a clean vest (or pack of more to the point)....then got home, and she did another one

Well JT had his 2nd injections today, he seemed fine this morning but this whole afternoon he's been crying and not settling and farting and following through... poor little thing!

I'm hoping he's going to be better in the morning. I hate seeing him unwell. I worry like mad


And EL... i hate those poos where it goes everywhere we must love our kids cos I tell u if OH shit all over his clothes and over his body I def wouldn't be cleaning it up

am at Em's today and D and Libs are playng nicely and have both done a poo so all is well wit the world.

Hi everyone. I've been working today so not a lot to report except my baby fell over today and bumped his head, he's got a bump right in the middle of his forehead I guess he'll be doing a lot more falling now he just wants to be standing up all the time. He looks so funny because he's so small still!

On a goo note, we've been trying to encourage him to sleep more at night by dropping the milk feeds. He hasn't had any milk between 8pm & 8am for 3 nights now, and last night he only woke up at 1:30am and 5:45am! Both times he settled really quickly as soon as he was laid down again (he likes to stand up in his cot now but gets stuck) So yay, I may start getting some more sleep!

I hope everyone and their babies are well.

Bless, Libby & Dylan have had a nice time playing, they are so funny the pair of them, Libby tries to pull Dylans hair, but then she finds he hasn't got any, and Dylan then gets her back, but she does have hair....so its watchful eyes at the ready with the pair of them! They always want whichever toy the other one has got too.....typical!!
I am sooo full of cold!! Gonna get into bed at 9pm and watch I'm a Celebrity try to sleep it off.
Not much else to report really.....I managed to get the vaccuuming done today with Lib strapped to my front in the Mei Tei, she was fast asleep by the end of it so cute

Poor Austin, hugs for him & his bump, glad the sleeping seems to be going better, fingers crossed you'll get a full night soon hun

We're off to stay with MIL for the weekend, we leave tomorrow afternoon not back until Monday so won't be about this weekend.
Libby has her 7-9month check tomorrow.....has anyone else's baby been for theres? Just wondering what happens?
I got a new phone today (Motorola SLVR) my dad sent it to me as Libby has wrecked mine by using it as a teething toy so the speaker on it is knacekred and I can't hear anyone who rings me Its really cool!! Will spend the car journey tomorrow annoying C testing the ringtones and the like

Just a quickie while I have 5 mins - my MIL is here and she is driving me MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD! I'm sure you'll all understand.

I have tried being smiley and chilled out but she gets on my wick so badly.

Examples:-

MIL: "What will we do today"
Me: "What do you think we should do/What would you like to do?"
MIL: "I think we should do go to the posh park and have a lovely lunch, I'll pay (me = ). But then what about the dog? Maybe we should walk the dog in the village first, leave him at home, then go and to lunch, park then the shops."
Me: "Sounds like a great idea, I'm up for that"
MIL: "What a shame for the dog, poor him being left at home - lets just do something in the village instead"
Me: "But you made a big fuss about us having the car today and we've arranged things so we can drive somewhere"
MIL: "Let's just take the dog for a walk in the village"
- I have got her to myself all day today and think I might just shoot her by the end of it.

Ella: "la, la, la" (crying)
MIL: "Poor you, Mummy doesn't feed you"
- I know this is a joke, but I just get frustrated.

She's the kind of person that is really gossipy and whatever you do she'll criticise - probably mostly behind my back (which I couldn't give a sh*t about - I'm never going to see her old cronies), but often cuttingly to my face, which really bothers me. I am cr*p whatever I do - yesterday I made 2 huge meals (cullen skink soup for lunch - complicated, and a big roast dinner for tea) and I was indirectly criticised for not spending enough time with Ella - hmmmm because I was so busy making the tea for 4 people, doing the dishes, sweeping the floor, running Ella's bath, laying out her clothes, putting the washing on, hanging washing up - you get the idea. If I had just sat on the sofa and not fed them, then I would've been criticised too! Whereas her darling boy can do no wrong...

Anyway - just had to get that off my chest. Only 24 more l-o-n-g hours. And the best news is that they are coming for Christmas...
