Also, We are thinking of moving house in a few weeks......been wondering about it for a while, the apartment is getting smaller the older Libby gets (and the more toys etc), seen a 3 bed house, and get a good vibe about it, so hoping to get a viewing this week and sort something out...please evryone keep your fingers crossed for us, I;d love to move before xmas

i know a good letting agent if you are looking

:rotfl: :rotfl:

Problem is, its advertised with a different agent, so might have to miss out on renting from the best agent in town, in favour of pretending I'm not the competition, and getting our accountant to give us a reference based on us working for our holdings company only.....sooo complicated!! But I sooooo hope it works!!! It in Mickleover, so a bit further out of town too, bus stop is just round the corner, so no more walking into town, would be back to public transport for me in the day when C has the car....haven't caught a bus (other than in London, which I think is differnet) for 10 years

oooooooooooh miclkeover is nice though...I would be able to get to you easier as i wouldn't have to go through the city, so would bequicker than waiting on chris :rotfl:

Even walking to a bus stop, waiting for a bus, going into town, getting a train to Birmingham, then walking to yours is quicker than waiting for Chris :rotfl:

I lost Dylans monkey on wednesday and still waiting to see if the found it at jo jingles..

I have found only one on ebay like D's as they have bought out a new updated version..I don't know what yto do it has just aover a day to go but i put it on the handle on car seat but he will ne in front facing seat soon as his head is hitting the hood of car seat ????

Hmmmm toughy........D isn't on a toy shortage, and I don't think it would work with the new car seat anyway....if it were me I wouldn't get it (unless its an absolute bargain!)...but its up to you.....does he notice its not there?
You do put it on his buggy as well though

Thing is he isn't too upset its gone as caterpillar comes in the car with him and he has his car on his buggy but he used to chat to monkey...so its like he's lost a friedn really :? god am i a bad mommy :(

Orans tooth is coming fast and strong, the nights HAD got back to normal but the last 3 nights has been terrible again, and he has been getting angry again like before when putting things in his mouth and hitting himself in the chops and Ive had a look today and the otherone on the bottom left is trying to come through, not quite pierced the gum but i can see the gum raised and kinda a see through colour so I recon in the next few days

Also his 3-6 months clothes are getting to small for him, ok width wise, its the length, tops to short and pants starting to get a bit half mast so will be in 6-9 but the end of the month   mind you means I better get shopping

been to get my new glasses and I love them - I can see again wooo hooo - Ill try and get a pic later.

Can I ask you all about your cots. Do you have bumpers, if so all the way or just top or bottom or what? Also blankets do you put them under the cot duvet thingy you get with the bedding bundles, seperate blankets, sleeping bags or what?

Im just trying to teach o to roll back to front but he aint getting it - MEN :x  he went on to his front 3 times in bed last night and then cried cause he was stuck, dip stick.

hope everyone and babies are ok. Hope you find your monkey cloud, I hope you get your house Em.

valentine I think I will be on the same trian as you for the meet cause the train from leeds leave like 11.45 and arrives the time you said, and my train home to leeds also leave when you said, although im going to look see if there is an earlier one cause otherwise oran will be grizzly on the train as he always gets grumpy at 7pm just before bed

I mite bring my mum and her go off shoppin while i meet you lot

Edit: It says i change at Birmingham new street... wil they have a lift?

Hi girls,

KK - Emmy is definitely chumming round with me til my train leaves at quarter to 7, so you get your kids home and get your train back at half 5, that still gives us the whole afternoon together .

Nic - my train doesn't arrive 'til 1.30pm (leave home at 8.30am!) but I don't know if everyone is meeting up earlier or not? If so, will someone remember to come and meet us at the station please as we are terrified!

trixi - Are you coming? Please?

I have requested from the organisers (cloud and Emmy) that we have a good feed in the pub, have a good chat and do some shopping!

Any word from Jo?

Today I've been cleaning and made chicken and sweetcorn soup from yesterday's roast dinner. I've been to the library, the wee shop and to pick some apples and brambles from my garden. I'm just off to make a crumble now. I've got more cleaning to do, but can't be bothered now - I've done more than I usually do in a day! OH is home late tonight as its parents night so wanted to make him a nice tea.

Tomorrow we are off to Babies and Toddlers in the village, then for a long walk by the river and for a picnic to a local castle. Might finish the cleaning too :rotfl: .

I've been a bit low again but feeling much more positive today, as I've actually achieved something and Ella is a happy soul. It's not a bad life really!

Valentine xxx

i think i will be able to come ive looked on virgin trains i can get a cheap return day ticket for £8.90 the only problem is i have to change at nottingham same as nic what time u planning on meeting as im going to book my ticket if oh says yes later

Hi All

JW - Well Done O on tooth number 2 - gosh, he's not hanging around for them teeth is he? Bless him, hope they start becoming less of a trouble for him soon  We have an all the way round bumper (from when she got her leg stuck between the bars  ) and a bumper that just goes at the top (as we had that already so just kept it). She sleeps in a sleeping bag (genius!!) no blankets or anything else. I think they recommend no quilts until 12 months anyway.

Nic - New Street (I haven't been there for years mind) should be pretty buggy friendly, I'll ask my sis in a bit as she uses that station a lot so she'll know :D

Can meet whenever, if anyone wants to/ does get there earlier, I can meet anytime, and I;m sure Cloud's the same? So whenever really, if we work on V's train time, and say meet for lunch somewhere at that time, we can always have a coffe or a wander with anyone getting there early, so JM - get the train that you think suits you best.

I was texting Jo this morning she text me back to say she can't make it :( Jaycee starts school on 10th October, and she'll be in school that day so just wouldn't be poss for her to come :( She's doing really well though, has just got back from visiting her dad in Lanzarote for 2.5 weeks, and is hoping to move out there next year....lucky thing!! Jaycee has started being a bit naughty (I said I hoped school would help her focus her energy better), Ellie is now rolling over, and showing an interest in food......she's moving to Watford soon too.....and is hoping to be back on here a bit once Jaycee is at school :cheer:

We've got a viewing at that house tomorrow afternoon  the Landlord will drop the monthly rent by £50 if we sign a 12 month, which we'll do no problem, and its cheaper on council tax too (by £14 a month), water won't be metered so that'll be cheaper, and it has gas (we're all electric here) so hopefully utilities will be cheaper all round in total.....but mostly I'm looking forward to getting hot water when I turn the tap on, not dependant on whether there's hot water in the tank or not

Here's alink to the house.....please keep them fingers crossed for me....its empty at the minute so we can move in ASAP!! So potentially, we could be in by the the time we have our meet!!!

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails- ... &tr_t=rent

Oh, and I put Libby in 6-9 pyjama's tonight....and.....they fit!! Snug as a bug!! I'm a bit  and a bit  my baby is growing up

em fingers crossed 4 u
i couldnt view that link, but i think its my stoopid computer (or my boyf nicking all the bandwidth again  )

v thanx 4 inviting me, but i'm so poor at the moment and we've all got the sniffles! my boyf started first and he's getting iller so i think its in store 4 us :(

well done oran getting his teeth bless him!

ooooh house looks lovely. love the firplace..vey your style house good luck..Are you gonna let MIL know it has 3 bedrooms :rotfl: ..
.I can get into the City at anytime so its not a prob for meet to meet you whenever..

nothing muvh more to say..A has done his first days work and is going back tomorrow :cheer: .. I am officially a housewife so tided up washed up anddone ironing before sitting down..

v we know a great pub for food that has baby changing facilities.I have used a lot of the changing dacilites in Derby as D likes to poo when we go shopping :shakehead:

Hey girls,

That's great Cloud, not loving the idea of changing her in the train loos, think I will try and do it on the table in the carriage if no-ones looking as I'm sure the train loos are FULL of germs!

I am hoping for some shopping too now ladies! However I am there until 6.45pm so it'd be lovely to sit and relax with you all over a leisurely lunch all afternoon too!

Who is meeting me at the station - please someone?

Do you think we should all exchange email addresses and continue meeting plans etc over group email? Might get really boring for trixi otherwise?

Xxx

I am expecting D to be in his front facing Seat by the time the meet happens so i will still have the reverse seat if one person and babyis not meeting around the same time as the majority..

The best thing is though if everyone arrives at the same time to just get a back cab into city its only a couple of mins in taxi.

I certainly like a bit of shopping to V..

If Em has moved it would be much closer to go to mine as its 5 mins drive to station from mine ..although car seats would be the big problem yet again

maybe once we know what time all are arriving and leaving we can suss it out...
