In regard to London meet, I'm thinking about it & probably going!! You could always get down here,(you can always stay the night too if easier?)...we can always make room & we could get the bus in together?...just a thought

Been BUSY again last few days, Friday we drove to High Wycombe as that is the closest thing to here that has an ASDA clothing department,nothing cheap around here
Got kids uniforms & drove back through the country lanes, was nice
Yesterday,kids were up to Brum to see their dad for the day so A & myself took advantage & decided to get some wedding things sorted as we only have 3 weeks left
Well we decided as you do that maybe we should think about getting the rings, you know it's like the most important thing in the ceremony that we hadn't got round to yet...
...so I thought as I was going home, where better could I go than the jewellert quarter
So glad that I did, we spent half of what we had been looking at in Ernest Jones etc... A tried one on in EJ and was £375, ordered the same thing yesterday for over half of the price!!
Basically we went into the jewellers & they had thousands of wedding bands so we sat down, chose which shape,which style,which finish etc & then customised them.
Basically I'm going for a 3mm band which is round & complement my engagement ring & then I'm customising it with a little single diamond in the centre.
A is going for the same but 5mm & obviously a bigger diamond as it's a bigger ring, they are going to be lovely!!
I feel so pleased that we've saved money & designed our own rings more or less to how we want them
I feel so clever, for suggesting there!! Well, we also got Beth a necklace which will be similar to my morning present ( A is off to Tiffanys to get me a tiffany heart pendant I think
) & got Tom a new watch for his best man gift so did really well.
Headed off to IKEA and got all of the crockery,glasses,cutlery,bread baskets, oil bowls,candles....everything I need for my tables!
We also have an old wooden double garage on the side of the house behind the gates which we can slide back the front so we will be clearting it out & opening it up as a dance floor so we went to Walsall to a fantastic fabric shop & got lots of white & pink voile which we wil be draping in there ....
So many ideas,hope they all come off
