Cloud sorry you are having a tough time, have you thought about giving d a spoonful of baby rice if he is waking in the night for food? It did the trick with the teejster! I can understand your reservartions with a, as if he is going cold turkey he might be difficult to live with, you go with your instincts!

Well I had to go to the hospal last night with nanna as she fell, she has not broken anything but she is bruised. It is scary because as time goes on she is all skin and bones it is very sad to watch. At least she isn't badly hurt though and the hospital said she will come home today so that is the main thing!

Not a lot else to report, teej woke at half five as usual then went back till nine, he wakes about 8:45 but he spends 15 minutes chatting to himself in his bed! Just enough time for me to shower and dress! I swear if I didn't shower and dress before we go downstairs I would stay in my dressing gown all day!!

M - Sorry to hear about your nanna, it is worrying with grandparents isn't it my nana is the same, very weak & frail I hope she is ok, and hasn't taken too much of a fright from the fall
Cloud - Sorry to hear you had a tough night with D, it is very hard, sometimes when L won't go down I get sooooo frustrated so I understand your upset.

I really want to come but don't know if I can justify spending that much money with all of the wedding things still left to pay for

Worked out last night that we still have £1900 to pay out yet

This quicky wedding started off with a £1000 budget & so far our costs are up to £4000

We've been quite good though as we have been determined that no credit cards or loans are used to fund this so in that respect I feel better & am amzed that we managed to get the money together!

Thats how our wedding bill went....especially with this party too.....good job I sold my house so had a bit if reserve I was same as you didn't want to use loans/ cards, I have friends who got married years ago, put it on a loan & are still paying it off (one couple got divorced before the wedding was paid for )
We'll have to have a separate meet up at a later date hun......I might be in Oxford on 26th Aug?

weddings are hellish in the money stakes!! Mine cost £25,000!!! we got married at gleneagles but sometimes i wonder whether I should have accepted dads offer of a cheque and gone and done it aborad, ho hum, wouldn't change it for the workd really!!

Well I have just done all my ironing while teej has been napping on the play gym, clever me!!!

evening all!! Hi Nic of course we missed you!!

Em, I feel you are always going away but I could be wrong!

I am off out tonight for a quick drink as Thomas is sleeping and P is here. This is one good thing about having a night time routine, I know he will be asleep so I am not missing any thomas time!!

My sister went for another scan today as they are monitoring her she is 35 weeks and the scan showed that there was a bit of placenta away from her actual placenta and also the baby's tummy was measuring small, any thoughts on this? They said they will not let her go over 40 weeks because of this. The blood flow through the placenta is fine though. Poor sister

hi all just quick post

not feeling very well

went to have another scan done today, but couldnt in the end so they put me on a heart monitor for a bit and all is very good, however my blood pressure is bit raised at moment so gotta slow down a bit

hope evryone is ok and il catch up soon with you all when im feeling better and this blooming baby gets off my bladder! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Bless, she'd done a poo so wanted a nappy change, has settled down again now

KK - sounds great!!! I love coffee shops!! We have a book café in Derby that I love as a rest stop. Also, yummy comfort food sounds good.

M- I wish I was always going away, we are just away to cornwall from Fri to Sun (sorry I've been corrected its actually Devon.....Axminster) as my friend is getting married there...should be exciting, our invite was to Chris, Emma & Libby (2 outfits ) as I have got her a day dress & an evening dress Have a nice drink, I agree with you re: bedtime routine, we settled Lib before we went on our date last week, and I felt much better about leaving her

M - Do you think we could see any wedding pics I love wedding pics....pwetty pwease 25k mine cost less than 1/5 of that....I think as long as you enjoyed your day then it shouldn't matter what you spent on it, but we really couldn't afford a big thing and definitely agreed we didn't wanna be paying it off after the fact, I'm the same with holidasys, I don't like paying for things after the time has passed, I have a car loan and a credit card that paid for our furniture and I can justify those in my mind as we still have them....well, I don't have the car anymore but I've nearlly paid that one now

JM - SOrry you can't make it to the meet hun, would have been lovely to meet you, I agree with KK maybe we could have another meet somewhere easier for you to get to soon?
