£10 an hour  I'll get A to pay e for cleaning the house for his son LOL

just a quick post as i'm busy sorting the little mans wardrobe out as he is venturing into 3-6 month clothes now.

HV has been today D is 14Lbs 3oz 1oz off double his birthweight
she has advised me try D on actimel formula see if that makes him sick as thats the closest to breast milk ..if it does he is going to be referred to community piediatrician as it may be milk intolerence.
I have also got to take him to docs for stoll smalpe as his poos and farts stink and it is pastey which it shouldn't be so he needs a stoll sample checking.
I am been referred for a family support worker to help me with things how they are..i should meet her in 2 weeks
and she has adivsed me to try take better care of myself eating wise..easier said than done.

been to Asda try and find one of those seats today but couldn't. but Em you know you want white plates they have some plain white bone china plates reduced from £35 to 15 ...I took 2 t shirts back to mothercare D has outgorwn and never worn and bought him 2pairs of trousers and a trouser and tshirt set from Asda instead.

Over weekend i have bought off ebay

4 prs dungarees+tshirts
3pr short dungaress's 2 with 2 shirts
2prs shorts and t shirt
all for under £20 with postage

stuff from asda todat cost me £10
and got £4.20 back from mothercare so he is well kitted out.

gonna get on hope Jaydee gets on ok at Docs

Have just put all of Libby's newborn clothes on ebay, gave all her unisex stuff to my friend who had her baby YESTERDAY!!! She had a boy who she has called Daniel, and he weighed 6lb 13oz.......went to see them this morning, and he is beautiful!!!
Looking forward to cinema.....might pop into ASDA after, then meeting with my friend late afternoon to see about making her wedding dress :cheer:

Hope all is well with everyone
Libby is still in 0-3, bu don't think it'll be long until she's in 3-6 - maybe a week or so
JM - I still get behind with washing, I usually save it all up and spend Sun/ Mon & Tues blitzing it then having a few days off :D
Oooh I'd love a cleaner, but haven't got £10 to spare let alone £10 per hour

Hello everyone!

ER I hope Jayde got on well at the doctors.

Cloud, Teej is so tired today he can't be bothered to think of a suitable reply but will try for later!

Kirls, I am feeling much better now health wise! I can't believe you are getting a cleaner I am so jealous - having said that P gutted the house this morning so can't comlain!

T hows the bump doing?

Trix, I am finding clothes depressing at the moment too, I really hate the way I look I went to the gym yesterday so I suppose it is a start if nothing else!

V, not long!!!! I can't wait! Are you tired?

Em, bit of a bugger about the mil coming back for a week, mine is coming in aug and I am not jumping for joy about it!

Well, I am absolutely shattered today. We went to my mums last night for a virgin vie party and thought we would both stay over as p was on lates anyway. I tried to put him down normal time but as he had never been there to sleep before I think he was a bit nervous! I ended up bringing him back down (very naughty I know but kind of wanted to show him off a little bit too!) and he finally went back up at 9, nearly three hours past his bedtime! He then woke at 5:30 - an hour before his usual and then woke back up at seven where my mum came and got him up (she is in love with him!) he normally gets up at 8:30 so all in all is seriously lacking in the sleep derpartment poor little soldier! He has had about six hours less than normal!!

I am also shattered, as P is on nights tonight he has been here all day so he has taken him for a walk then to morrissons and I went and had a lie down, I feel hungover actually which I am not as I only had 2 glasses of wine last night!

Anywazy, baby massage soon then I might come back and lie on the bed with him, he likes to do that as he sleeps for two hours in the afternoon when we usually do it!

Hope all is well with everyone xxx

Hi girls!

Sorry I've not posted for a few days - I've been trying to keep busy. Today I've been to get my hair cut and blow dried (just a trim, taking the weight off and making it easier to manage when the baby is here), I've been strawberry picking at the local farm (I LOVE strawberries) and I'm just about to go and get my bikini line and eyebrows waxed in preparation for the BIG DAY!

I've also made a big chilli and a sausage casserole for the freezer to help us with teas for the first few weeks. I've already got a ready made butcher's steak pie and a veg lasagne in the freezer and tomorrow I'm making a chicken and sweet potato curry and a minestrone soup - has anyone any other ideas of any other (summer friendly) meals I could make for the freezer (easy to heat up when have a newborn baby!).

Tonight I'm hoping to get my baby clothes ironing finished off and maybe make a phone call or two.

I'm being REALLY irritable with everyone at the moment, wish I could stop it as I think everyone is a bit scared of me and I don't want to be a horrible person - it just happens. Any tips? I think I feel stressed as (I think) everyone expects me to have some kind of insight into when this baby will come - when I'm really just as clueless as everyone else!

jaydesmummy - thanks for my post in 3rd tri today - it meant a lot that someone was thinking of me! Sorry the docs wasn't more helpful.

missac - I hope Teej (and you!) catch up on your sleep this afternoon! Did you buy anything at the Virgin Vie party?

Cloud - You got some lovely bargains for Dylan - I can't wait to find out if I'm having a boy or a girl then it'll be shopping city! Everything is very white or yellow just now!

Emmy - I'm sure your friend was due the same day as me - eek!

 to everyone.

aww congrats Tracey..brought a lump to my throat hearing that news :cheer:

nice M ...I was gonna put lip gloss on today but never made it infact i've not had a pee on my own till 10.30 tonight

D very much enjoyed his date..I am not sure if libs and D were playing footsie or were kicking each other but when mommy moved Libs away D continued trying to kick ( sure the other boys will be very proud) but libs cutely tried to hold D's hand aaaaaaaaaaaaaah such a cute moment.

D has been screaming most the vening think he is over tired and missing LIbs..he has finally gone to sleep

A has agreed to stay clear of canabis till after 9pm when D goes to bed so is coming home fo r a couple of days to see how things go but i have told him he has to think about me more and not expect me to be happy joy joy and when he feels tired to remember i have been doing 5 times what he has...We have an assessment at relate on Thurs as it is in't going to go away all the resentment i feel towards him so we will have to wait and see.

Anyhow hugs to all mommies, babies and bumps

Hi All,
We've had a lovely day today, Libby has been a little treasure! Harry Potter was fabulous, really enjoyed it.
Libby & Dylan played a bit of footsie, then there was a bit of synchronised feeding, but unfortunately Libby ended the date by filling her nappy (not very ladylike) but don't think Dylan was bothered as he still gave her a kiss goodbye :D
I went & bought a new dinner service after that, and will be donating my old plates to a house of students this week.
Little rant:
C decided he wanted to go to the gym earlier, agreed he'd put L to bed, and I would cook dinner, as I bought some steak to do a nice meal, he phoned at 8pm to see what time he needed to be home, well L's bedtime has been 8pm for the last 6 weeks, so that would be what time he needed to be home  Anyway I washed her & changed her, started feeding her, C got home at 8.25, I asked him to take over feeding so I could do food....he needed a shower so I finished feeding her, tucked her in, fast asleep all good.
Started cooking food, except the grill pan (which I only cleaned on Sunday) was covered in fat as he'd cooked bacon last night and not put foil on the pan :wall: So had to scrub it again!
Got dinner on, realised he hadn't bought up the dinner service from the car, so had to send him for that :wall:
Grrrrrrrrr
 On the plus side, I just bought some Crocs flip flops off ebay for £8.50 :D
Sorry for the rant, I wsa trying to be a good wife, made him a speacial dinner, and he has wound me up so I'm on the 'puter now having a rant to you lot

T2 - Congrats on 2nd tri, hopefully you'll get your energy back now and be able to feel more normal :cheer: 1 tri down, 2 to go :cheer:
V - Yep, my friend was due 2 days before you!! Scary eh? You'll be fine, hope you have enjoyed your pampering, and cooking, I would suggest some soups for lunches, make sure you'v got some bread in the freezer too, always handy :D
Cloud - Hope you had a good afternoon, and got all your shopping done without incident.
Trix - How are you & Millie doing?
M - Glad you are feeling better, might take a leaf out of your book and have an afternoon nap tomorrow as I feel shattered tonight, so def need a power nap scheduling into my days.
KK - How's stuff? Hope all is going well
JM - Sorry docs were crap  Hope Jaydes been ok again tonight?
JW - Hope you & O are having fun, any more news on the house you are buying, is it all going ok?
Nic - Hugs to you & Keeley
MK - Hope the decorating is going well
Anyone I've forgotton (truly sorry, I;ve had a glass of wine)

  awww Em rant away...I wonder wether men really are stupid, play at been stupid or just sit around and say if we all act dumb they'll think its a gender thing..

Shopping done got a jumbo box of PAMPERS nappies £9.99 for 104 plus a £2 off voucher so should keep his little bum covered for a while..I also bought some fruit to supplement my chocolate diet :rotfl:

Aww cloud, I missed your post cos I took so long typing mine :D
We are shopping twinnies........I bought 105 Huggies for £9.99 from Toys R Us, went in for a raincover, which I didn't buy cos it was £29.99 so I got one on ebay for £5.99 instead, and the box of Huggies was reduced by £2 so I couldn't resist.
I am on a diet, so no chocolate, but I did buy some yummy strawberries :D

I think men are just lazy

em and cloud i normally buy the big boxes of nappies its so uch cheaper and i agree men are so laxy

t2 congratulatuons on reaching tri 2 :D :D :D

well im off to bed now going to try jayde without a df tonight to see how she gets on right off to bed now

Hello girls!

I've been awake since 4.30am  after a bad dream which involved lots of shouting at my OH and bad feeling :(. It's really hot here too. So I gave up about 6am and got up and had a shower and de-fuzzed etc. I think my nesting bug has well and truly kicked in as I am just dying to get cleaning and tidying up - the house is pretty much done, but I want to go over it every couple of days so it's sparkly!

We're getting our new sofas today so our old ones are in the garden waiting to be picked up by freecyclers so I will give the living room floor a good clean while it's free of big furniture. Isn't it amazing how big a room looks without all the clutter and gubbins?

After I've finished cleaning, I'm hoping to pop to Tescos and do some more batch cooking as I really enjoyed myself yesterday. I might phone another heavily pregnant friend too to see how she is getting on. However, my M-I-L is coming down to see my new nephew and is threatening to come round which I SO DO NOT NEED - she is driving me round the bend just now (I know, I know - the worst is yet to come!) - I know I'm being unreasonable as she's just in touch all the time 'cos she cares but I just want to be left alone to get on with things before the birth and not be paraded around and my size commented on in public like some kind of circus freak. I know I sound irrational - I can't help it!

Just popped on quickly (honest!) to say a couple of hellos:-

Cloud - Happy 3 month birthday to Dylan - woo hoo! Has it flown past?

t2 - Congratulations on reaching tri 2 honey - I'm so so pleased for you.

Emmy - men are lazy ar*es. Mine wanted praise yesterday as he'd spent about half an hour repainting a wall in the living room I'd been nagging him about for months. This was in between a lie in until 11am, a L-O-N-G lunchbreak on the computer and with the paper then a night out to the pub with the boys. I am busy doing things all day and find it really hard to swallow my tongue and say "thanks for doing that honey". Grrrrrr. I think we are spending TOO much time together at the moment (he's a teacher so off on hols just now until mid August).

missac - I meant to say this yesterday but I forgot - for some reason I thought your P worked as a prison officer but now I think he works in Tesco. Have I got pregnancy brain? I was convinced you'd mentioned him being a prison officer or similar somewhere in this thread before? :rotfl:

 to everyone else!

Hi everyone.where to start? ?

M, your party sounds fun, I think Teej famcied a lot of spoiling
As for cleaner,my,I wish A would agree but he won't pay that much :(

Em, men mem men :wall: :wall: :wall: Think they lose common sense with the approach of puberty!
Glad you enjoyed the film. Where did you get your dinner set from? We've just had some nice plain white ones ordered from our wedding list at Next.As for the crocs :shakehead: :shakehead: I had to pay £25 for mine but they are sooo comfy :D

Cloud, hope all goes well with A and I think it's fantastic that despite your doubts you are going to relate, some people would just give up.
You make sure that he helps out a bit more & point out that you can't make important decisions and think rationally whilst you're exhausted.
Glad you enjoyed the film too...sounds like it could be love between Dylan & Libby? sam is jealous :rotfl:

V , wow how close are you? Mighty organised too!! Have to say that I had very vivid dreams when I was in later stages of pg too. Can't wait to see pics of your baby

T2, so pleased you're in tri 2

Been a busy bee at the moment, not trying to neglect my lovely ladies
Been trying to get this wedding sorted and having some family tim plus A and I decided to go into the city yesterday and went for a nic lunch in Bella Italia, was yummy :D

JW, sorry but I had quattro stagioni pizza, ciabatta bread wit oil and balsamic vinegar..was lovey, wonder if I will have lost any weight

v :rotfl: I am sure you are night a circus freak but it did make me laugh - sorry! P is a police officer, no sure where you got prison officer from! He was cutting off roads to tesco the other day though so I understand the tesco confusion!

Em, sorry about c being a wally, sometimes they just don't think! P was supposed to be doing bedtime last night, but he made it upstairs after I had started ....have to go crying baby wants milk will finish in a while!

Awww V - I hated those vivid dreams towards the end too   Hopefully not long for you - my MIL threatened to come in the last week but I made C promise me she wouldn't :shakehead: Not required thankyou! :shakehead:

Men are ar$es aren't they, oh well, at least most of the time C is a good'un.

KK - It is only because of you I am buying crocs, I remmeber you saying how comfy they were, and I on't like the shoes so have been looking for some flip flops & saw my size y'day finishing in 20mins, so did the last minute utbid to someone else and luckily for me got them at £8.52 :cheer:

M - Hope Teejy is full now :D
