Back by popular demand

Send your pics to pregnancyforum (at) gmail.com deadline is Friday (Halloween) at 2pm
Please make sure your pumpkin has a card in the pic with "PF written on it (to stop potential cheating ;))

PLEASE do not call your photo by your username, or I will have to change the names of them all!

I will post the pics and people will be able to pm me with their votes :)

Hmm I suppose we can't stop people from doing that, as long as you promise to do some of it LOL

Am going to carve mine tomorrow - it's only a diddy one that came with my veg delivery - plus it's my first go at carving one so it could look rather hilarious... will there be a "special" prize for the person who tried reeeealy hard :p

This is my practice one :D
First time carving a pumpkin as before I have been too lazy

My real entry is going to be designed by my daughter... should be interesting!!

Read a tip today that rubbing vaseline into the exposed pumpkin will help preserve it, not that I'll be carving any pumpkins, I have some bad memories involving pumpkins (don't ask :talkhand: )!

i carved a couple the other day 0 but didnt take pics with the PF sign :( (now the pumkins are in the big as they went super mouldy fast! lol)

Next time im making them is holloween afternoon (but probably later then 2pm as its not at my house) :(

Hi,

Cant we do it a little later than 2pm on the day of Halloween? Its just that if you carve them too early they shrivel up and go mouldy in no time and get infested with flies... :puke: If we could all have time to get our little ones out of school that day and make a start sometime late afternoon that would be ideal. DD will want to help and she doesnt finish school until 5pm and like i said we cant do it the night before as it will be ruined by Halloween night. How about the final entries to be in by late evening or the following morning (since we will be going trick or treating followed by a Halloween party til late) and then they can be judged the day after Halloween. Anyone agree?

Yay!! I carved my first pumpkin last year, made a right mess of it but it was so much fun. Shall be getting a nice big pumpkin tomorrow ( tesco hasn't sold out AGAIN!) and will get working on it!

Oooh I had so much fun doing this for work last year, I had 3 designs carved in mine!
