I stopped taking my pill on 15th december and here I am sat in front of two positive tests!

And now it dawns on me - what do I do now?! I hadn't thought any further ahead of taking a home test ! Do I take another? make a doctor's appointment? Turn down the heating to save money? Buy a book?

Excited! :)

Hehe, congratulations!!!! I'm not to sure on the next steps...I would be in your positions I think. lol. I bet you are so excited. I would be! :) I think booking a doctors appt in the next couple week would be next step. A book would help... I have loads! Pregnancy for Dummies is highly recommended. Is this your first?

xx

:yay: Congratulations :)

Get booked into the dr when you can ,considering the weather :) If the tests are good there's no need to retest :D

Can we have pics? :yay:

:yay: Pics! :yay: And lots of :dust: for a happy, healthy and smooth pregnancy :D

Congratualtions!! No need to hurry, youve got 9 months ahead of you! I went to library with OH and we checked out some books, they're freeee... You need to save money now!!

Book in to see your GP and get referred to Midwife. Congrats again! :)

Thank you everyone - I'm still a bit shell shocked! I went into town and bought the Pregnancies for Dummies book plus 'The best friends guide to pregnancy' by Vicki Iovine.

It is exciting, and terrifying, and my boobs hurt already.

I was a bit like you when I found out. It was only my 2nd month of trying and I was just staring at the test for ages!

It's just starting to sink in now. It's very exciting! Congrats!

wow, that was quick! Congratulations!! Any idea of a due date?

From my own rubbish calculations I think its 20th-ish of September. But Im probably wrong!

Got my GP appointment on Monday so Im looking forward to that!

Sounds about right - I got my bfp on 1st Jan (last year), last period was 8th December and Toby was due on 12th Sept (from dating scan)

Congratulations! :yay:
