Ok so here is the deal , I was on the pill (loestrin 20) for about two months, I was very scatty in taking it, missing a day or so, wrong times etc...anyway I stopped taking it, it was causing me too bleed too much and the cramps was REALLY bad.

I had unprotected sex on the 14th May, and the rest...and now I am worried that I might be pregnant, mind you it could be psychological.
I am having cramps/dull aches in my abdomen, breasts are a bit tender.

I do not want to waste money taking a pregnancy test, so I am just obsessing for now.

Now I have a few questions, if anyone cares to answer PLEASE.

If I was only taking the pill for two months will my periods still fall in the same pattern as it was before?

I stopped taking the pill around the end of April, what is the chance of me being pregnant?

How soon is a reasonable time to take a pregnancy test?

The only way u will know fo sure hun is to test i think it would show up by now, you can get cheap preg tests now

as I was on the pill and they say it is not a proper period?!, even tho it damn well felt like one...but the withdrawal bleeding was about the 23rd April!

you could easily be pregnant.

14 days after unprotected sex is a good time to aim for if you don't know when your last period was or if you had recently come off the pill.

If negative and you still have no AF one week later then repeat again.


and you MUST take folic acid from today! go to chemist - it is really cheap but if you are pregnant you need to protect the baby (even if you wouldn't plan on keeping it as you could change you mind and regret not taking it).

ps. if you wouldn't want to continue with the pregnancy test now and then weekly until AF arrives as the earlier you know the more options you have and more time to think about it.

Ok I will let you know how it turns out, knowing me my period will probably start 2moro, I can be paranoid!
