Thank you *A Poem*

I want to thank each and every one of you lovely ladies for showing such kindness and support. I am doing ok...Rosie seems to have perked up so that has made me happier. I still haven't quite faced up to the emotion of it all...but I know from past pains that I tend to hold it in and then a few weeks....months even it all comes out. Right now though I feel ok...prob due to my lovely puppy babies, I so enjoy cuddles with them, such a comfort.

I have faced many trials and tragedies in my life and sometimes I wonder how I am still here....I guess I must be strong, even though I feel so very weak most days. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger...so they say.

I would like to share a poem I wrote ..


The day we found out
I was carrying you
Our world became alive
and oh so new

The day of our scan
Oh how we were dreading that day
But when we saw your heartbeat
all our fears melted away
~~~~~~~~~~
You were perfect my boy
hands and toes counted for
Dreams had come true
could we ask for more
~~~~~~~~~~
It was a wonderful feeling
knowing you were alive
I prayed in my heart
you would grow strong and thrive
~~~~~~~~~~
For 16 weeks
I carried you inside
But one day I had I feeling
I just couldn't hide
~~~~~~~~~~
You passed away silently
and I never even knew
My heart is now broken
What am I to do

It hurts to know
I'll never see your face
and where you once slept
is now an empty space
~~~~~~~~~~
The mother in me
still longs for your touch
My darling little one
I love you so much

No one can yet say
why you passed away
but know this my little son
Me and your daddy will love you
till our dying day

Sat here in tears and reading again about your loss and how you've dealt with it.
