Hi girlies

Can you help me?

I am really interested to compare my temperatures with some of you guys.

Some cycles I do not ovulate and I know that temping is probably the best way to confirm this without actually having bloods done.

Please could you share yours with me from just before ov to whatever day you are now?

Mine this cycle are:

Two days before ov: 36.3

Day before ov 36.1/2 (positive opk)

Probable ov day: 36.3
1dpo 36.3/4
2dpo 36.5
3dpo 36.7
4dpo 36.6
5dpo 36.6
6dpo 36.7/8

mine are a bit all over the place but have been

2 days before OV - 97.6
1 day before OV - 97.86
Ovulation - 97.45 (my lowest ever)
1 dpo - 98.04
2 dpo - 98.17
3 dpo - 98.04 (but was out of bed 5 hours earlier)

still a bit confused as i got my first positive OPK on the day my chart says I ovulated but a stepped temp rise after is a good sign that actually ovulated. So reasonably happy

they are some high temps! Have you always been high naturally? I'm quite a cold person I think. x

this is my first month, but yeah all of my temps have been to the upper end of my graph! some have even been off the scale.

no wonder I always get far too hot at night and only sleep under a thin sheet!

lara - mine are idetical almost to yours. ive been temping for 6 months and my pre ov temps raneg from 36-36.30 and then temp shift is about 36.4.36.6 and then bounces along anywhere from 36.4 to 36.7 till AF comes.
if you dont ov regularly you will find temping incredicly useful - you will be able to see ovulation and the temp shift to confirm it and then monitor your post ov temps and LP length.

Im about 36.25-36.30 before ovulation, then I jump quite quick. 36.40, 36.55, 36.60, 36.70, 36.80.

wow thaanks for these, this is interesting. Did you always test at the same time every day?? I wanted to ask about timings because when I take my temp at 4.30 am (dont ask me why I did this but I must be getting obsessed) it was a lot lower than at 7am which is my usual time....
Do you tend to get the same temps each month? Even on neg cycles??

Right girls. As I mentioned above, I notice sometmes that if I take my temp earlier then I get lower values than if I wake and take it at 7am.
Anyone have any thoughts?

I am relatively new to temping. Hoping to use it to confirm ovulation as sometimes I do not ovulate.

Hi,

You need to take your temperature at the same time each day, otherwise u will get different results. I think you can have an hr each side incase you are late or early for any reason, but try & stick to the same time if you can.

If you normally take it at say 7am but one day take it at 9am, just make a note on your chart of the time so you can see the difference. Remember you MUST take your temp before you get out of bed. So have your thermomitor at the side of the bed so you can just reach out without hardly moving, it all makes a difference with your temp.

hi, i read in TCOYF that just 20-30 mins can affect your temps. i have fortunately ovulated every cycle i have temped and they are very consitent so consistnet in fact that the first day of my temp shift is always 36.5x.

yes ! Mine can be out if I am even half an hour early. They are way lower. It like I heat up between 5 and 6am! Weird!!

I want to really get a clear pic of my pattern, I guess that just takes time x x

this cycle iv been testing at 10 am each morning (what with being off work for xmas hols iv een lazy having lie ins lol...iv had to discard 2 temps this week tho because of getting up at 7.30 for work and testing alot earlier) so it does make a heck of a difference not doing it same time each day xxx

Sorry I'm not sure what Ive done wrong. Here's my temps below 4DPO - 12 DPO. FF says I have 11 day luteal phase and that AF due today. I expected my temp to have dropped this morning but it rose slightly giving me renewed hope. I know I'm clutching at straws but what do you reckon? Could there be wee bean nestling in?
