Hi ladies :)

I've only just had my first baby but we have planned to start trying again in a year's time. I never done temperature or checking when I ovulated last time so thought I would start practicing now.

I was just wondering when would I class as cd1? My baby girl is 4 weeks today and I have been bleeding since I had her although today it is just spotting.

Hope this all makes sense haha xx

CD1 is the first day of your period but since you have been bleeding since the birth I would wait till the bleeding stops & then when you start again class that as your first real period.

Forgot to say, Congratulations on the birth of your daughter!

Ok thank you for your help, and thank you. Fx you get your bfp very soon xx

Oooh congratulations on the safe arrival of your baby girl!

I was just going to say what Sugarpop said and wait till the first day of your next bleed and count that as CD1. Good idea to start temping already - although with a newborn baby, you might struggle with the same time every day and 4 hours of unbroken sleep required for temping. Good to get to know what's happening as soon as possible though! xx
