Telling people about your bfp...

What have your experiences been like??

It's d-day for me tomorrow. Me and my boyfriend have become sooooooo excited (perhaps getting a little too carried away so early on) that the thought of anyone being negative would ruin how happy we are at the moment.

I think my parents will be fine... I've graduated from uni, I'm in a loving relationship, I've got a teaching job and will have completed my newly qualified teacher year... but I am quite scared of his mums reaction.

Will keep you updated... this forum has become my online diary/ bible guide to pregnancy!

So anyway... what was it like for you regardless of whether you had a little miracle surprise like me or had being ttc..

We were only really worried about teling hubbys dad as when we told him about the 2nd and 3rd he went mental which peed me off but upset hubby but he was ok this time We have still only told parents and siblings and a couple of very good friends. Oh and I had to tell my boss as due to medical issues I needed appointments pretty early on. I don't really want to tell anyone else yet

We told our close family about 2 weeks after getting BFP, everyone was really pleased, especially my husband's Mum who more or less crushed me!!!!! One person who shall remain nameless said negative things, I had expressed to her that I was worried about something going wrong and she started to give me examples of people she knew who had had things go wrong!!!! NOT what I wanted to hear!!!!! Plus me and OH were planning on a holiday in September but she also gave example of someone she knew who flew and then started to bleed!! Hence the fact we are holidaying in this country!!!!!!!!! This negative person hasn't got any children!!!!!!

Can't wait til 12 week scan when we can tell the whole world!!!!
