I don't know whether there is one already but there seem to be a lot of us in the same boat with our LO's teething.

How about a thread just for it?

Sam's been a little better today, although we have been into Hull shopping so he was quite happy watching everything going on. Not as much whining today as the last few days.

His sleeping pattern has gone a bit off track though. He used to go to bed around 8pm and sleep through until at least 6am 8am if i was lucky. This last week he has been fast asleep by 7pm (which is good!!!) but he is now waking at around midnight for a feed and then again between 4am and 5am :wall:. I am not sure whether it is his teeth or a growth spurt as he seems hungry when he wakes.

I am finding Ashton and Parsons powders are really helping him though.

I'm totally clueless when it comes to teething! I feel terrible coz i feel like i should know!
Angel had a bad couple of weeks but she's really calmed down now. Just dribbles everywhere! Lol Although her sleep pattern has gone to pot! She was sleeping right through til about 7.30am, wake for a feed and be out again from 8-9.30! Now we're up around 1ish, and somewhere between 4 and 6am!

thomas is cutting a bottom fang its so close to cutting, i find his teething necklace (£9.99 from ebay) works wonders for him plus teething gel by the truckload :)
hes not been too ratty with it but it does make him fuss with bottles as hes trying to chew where the tooth is cutting
xx

Well Kaira cut her first tooth on Sunday and it's not been too bad. She's been slightly grumpier than usual and after the tooth came through she had some bad nappy rash and horrific poos :puke:

Really recommend the teething necklace - she's not been nearly as bad as some of the horror stories I've heard. Word of warning though - take it off if your going anywhere near a HV, mine was a complete bi**h about ours on Tuesday

My HV had never seen a teething necklace when she saw Sam wearing his  she had no idea about them so I had to explain the benefits of one to her :D

i swear my son is never going to have teeth! hes seems to have been chewing on stuff for aaages but no sign yet! absolutely nothing! i cant even see them under the gum, hes guna be 1 i just no it!!!

I'm still waiting for leela to get hers. She's been chewing on everything for the past month or so but still nothing. She's coming up 9 months too.

It doesn't stop her eating tho

:wall:

Mr Whingey is back today he isn't even happy doing his favourite thing - laying starkers on the floor
I cannot do anything with him at all nothing is occupying him for more than 2 mins.

Me Me Me i want to join this thread too.

Sophie has been gumming everything and crying and whinging all the time she want to be carried everywhere. Ive been using the powder which seems to help but shes behaving worse in the afternoons. She is still waking at least once everynight and always has done so no change there Its a nightmare

oh can i join?? :cheer:
violet started teething about 3 weeks ago i could see the tooth when she was 11 weeks and now at 12 weeks it's totally through!! no grumbling yet just lots of dribbling and hand chewing!! She is too young to hold teething toys to her mouth though. awwwwww. :D

does she take a dummy? you can get tommee tippee teething things for little ones that is kinda like a dummy but with bits for them to chew. You can put them in the fridge to cool them down. Pretty sure they sell them in Tesco.

My mum bought them for Kaira but due to her point blank refusal to entertain anything that remotely resembles a dummy they get screamed at before getting thrown on the floor :wall:

I bought the Tommee Tippee dummies for teething and Sam will not take them because they cover the whole of the gums they make him sick :(

yes she'll have a dummy, though it a small one. I'll have a look for them and give it a try.
thanks xxxxxxxx :D

I tried those TT things... Fine if I hold it in his mouth - yeah, like ima do that one all day!!!

He winges, then moans, dribbles abit, moans some more and has a good winge, this rotates every 20mins or so. Wants to be picked up, carried around, constant attention etc etc. I feel I have a 3rd arm and its a baby, this thing permanently glued to my hip!!

You can feel them right there under the gum, side ones on bottom - oddly look the 1st to come thru!

Theres white nodules on his gums? Any ideas? Well, iv seem two now, seem to come and go...!

we have a tooth!!!!

little pearly white poking through this morning WOOOOOOOOHOOOOO now that made my day I can tell you! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

 Where are the teeth  ??

Sam has stopped sleeping through the night, he spends all day whining, he has a really spotty chin, and lastly every nappy is terrible :talkhand:

He has his teething necklace on permanantly, Aston and Parsons powders are my new best friend!

Logans teething, you can see a bit of white, and feel it just beneath the gum. He cries cos it hurts to drink his bottle and is dribbling everywhere.
James didn't get his first peg till after 6 months.

This teething is driving me insane Sophie is not sleeping in the night much now and is so grumpy i cant put her down without her crying i hope it pops through soon  .
