I got a capricorn billy goat and writing with 2 stars on the top of my leg which I love and a VW logo which I want removed also a couple of old indian ink ones when someone brought a bottle into school when we were about 14.
Never get partners names on!
And my billy goat hurt like being scratched hard but not an unbearable pain and when I got distracted by my fone I didnt feel it at all.
Its about a week or so later when it scabs over you need to worry about! AAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!

Ive got a chinese sign for friendship, me and my mates all have the same one, it wasnt sore coz i was p***ed at the time, my mate has a tattoo parlour and done it for free. Had to get it recolured a while back as i used sunbeds alot when i was younger.
Im due to get another one on my left ribcage, its called motherhood, it a mermaid with a baby mermaid, the tail of the mermaid is curling up protecting it in a circle. My Tattoist, has taken a pic of mines and kaidens faces and hel change the face on it so it looks like us, im waiting til my skins has tones back up then il have it done. Ive heard it will be quite sore, id never get a mans name on my body. XkelX

I currently have 7 tattoos, im addicted!
1st: Pegasus on my lower back
2nd: symbol meaning "Dream" on my upper back
3rd: symbol meaning "Love" on my stomach
4th: Banner with "Chloe" and a butterfly on my inner forearm
5th: Blue butterflys and black ivy on my lower leg
6th: Iris flower with tribal on my upper arm
7th: my lovely black linework wings, on my upper back
also plan n getting more, I love getting them done, but the most painful so far was my wings on my upper back, my upper arm and inner forearm hurt least.

the one which hurt most was the one on my lower back!!!

The Law states that it is an offence for anybody under the age of 18 to get a tattoo.
Thats it, its as simple as that - illegal.
But... Generally if an under 18 yr old gets tattooed, it will only be their parents that are likely to make a formal complaint to the authorities.
So some tattooists figure that they may as well offer tattoos to over 16's with parental consent, on the grounds that they are unlikely to get into trouble.
Personally I never knowingly tattoo anybody under 18 , although I accept that some do slip through!
Most tattooists are greedy and have little concern for the wellbeing of their customers, they don't really care, they just want your cash.
Personally I did get tattooed underage, and I still don't think its a good idea. Better to wait until you are at least 25 IMO, mainly because if you get a tattoo when you are 16, by the time you are thirty its going to look quite crap.
Best advice is to spend a lot of time choosing a good tattooist, if it means waiting a year or two, then wait.
I spend alot of my working days fixing awful tattoos done by other tattooists.

I have to agree. I was 16 when I got the ones on my thighs done. Luckily they are high up and not many people see them. But I definitely didn't think them through. If I remember properly me and my mate decided to get them done one afternoon, we didn't even take the time to think about it. Oh to be was young, dumb and stupid again!!
(I'll be 30 in September and they certainly don't look as good as I remember! heheh)
I have 1 on my wrist, jk;s initials, one on my shoulder a tribal sign, one on the bottom of my back tribal , and a lizard on my stomach, i didnt really find any of them hurt very much, but the one i felt most was my stomach, my wrist was just tingly, was kinda nice lol

I'd be glad to design one for any of you guys if you let me know what sort of thing you're after and where on your body you want it.
This one is my manly style of tattoo, I don't have any pictures of the other 3 I've designed, but they were all for girls, and are a bit more 'Art Nouveau' and swirly if you know what I mean!
