D3 is made from sheeps wool. So if your strict to the point of not wearing wool, then it's technically not vegan, I guess it depends on where you stand on wool and what your blood levels of vit d are like to whether you make the exception.
I'm a slightly different vegan in that whilst I take huge enjoyment in the fact no animals are harmed in the formation of my diet, because of health complications my primary reason for being vegan is staying alive! So whilst I would never eat meat I would utilise something like wool, if I needed to, which nature naturally parts from the sheep in a shedding process. Granted people help them along, but it would happen naturally without us.
Stick in some real chillies and scoff the apricots, the crazy jack organic ones in tesco's baking isle are delicious and they will definately help with getting things moving!
