sweep question

i had sweep last night and my show came away but woke up this morning and still bleeding is this normal cause ive never had a sweep before would like reply please bit worried

i know it's not unusual to have spotting after a sweep, but it depends how bad it is.

Ring the midwives and ask if you are unsure

i wouldnt say really bad but its not just spotting but its only bleeding when im on toilet

Could be cervix opening.

I had bleeding towards the end and they told me that it was just capilleries bursting with the pressure of baby's head.

If you are woried about the amount then ring them, they don't mind hun.

When I had my show I bled when I went to the loo but no other time. Mind you I was in labour at the time so not probably the best help. I would agree with amy's mum, that is what they are there for and it will set your mind at rest x
