Swabs?

Anyone else had these done? I had it done yesterday!! Couldn't believe how uncomfy it was! Had two ppl having a good old look up there lol guess good prep for labour

I remember having swabs with alfie but it's nothing like having a midwife check how dilated you are lol

But at that point you just want baby out so you're really not fussed!!

Glad everything is ok though, was worried about you xxx

aw thanks hun! am glad it wasnt my membranes i can deal with an infection! gotta ring in 3 days for results

reading your post made me thinkof when i had a m/c back in september and the doc had to doan internal i was passing clots the size ofgolf balls and he was sticking swobs and tweezers up -why is it that unless its a certain male anatomy anything else going up there is bloody uncomfortable lol

i agree with the midwife thing too when ive been checked in last pregnancy to see how far dilated i was i thought she was trying to make me into a hand puppet - either that or she thought she was a farmer trying to geta calf out pmpl

oh the joys and beauty of pregnancy NOT lol

I had to have an internal on Sunday..........and the doctor kept asking me to cough????? I just couldn't it was soooooo uncomfortable!!!

Never been swabbed but the sonographer doing the internal scan yesterday seemed determined to poke it out of my eyeball I am sure lol

That's what she was looking at, I couldn't see anything but its a bit like Time Team, if you don't know what you're talking about you can't see it lmao

I had swabs in both areas, the back one was most unpleasant. Have to go back and do it all again tomorrow....yuck....

Hey hun.

When i was having my problems a couple of weeks back i had swabs taking. I still havent heard anything bk from mine and they said no news is good news so hopefully yours will be fine too.

Yeh fx they did a swab for chlamydia too! I told OH he better tell me now if that will come back positive ha ha
