We put Callum at the bottom of the cot every night.

Yesterday morning when Callum woke up he'd somehow got himself to the top of the cot with his head literaly touching the cot bars

This morning, well this afternoon because hes just woken up..
Lees just found him at the top of the cot again, rolled over onto his back (He only sleeps on his front) with his legs hanging out of the cot bars

Surely that isnt safe for him?

what shall i do?

Or is it ok?

Will he sleep in a sleeping bag or is this in one? When Becky is in her cot sleeping during the day (ha, now and again!) she doesn't have one on and ends up all ways - turned round through 180 degrees, belly when she's been on her back, all four limbs out the side of the cot having pushed the whole thing away from the wall  She doesn't do it at night, though, so I don't know if it's related to the sleeping bag? She doesn't thrash around nearly as much when she's in it.

Finlay does the same thing and he does that when he is in his sleeping bag too  He sleeps on his tummy too. I have noticed that he's not doing it as much as he used to now. Usually flips onto his tummy when he wakes up and tires to eat his feet

Not much you can do I am afraid - we put cot bumpers on and they just got on my nerves so I took them off.

Luke constantly hangs his legs out of the bars. I wouldn't worry about it hun xxxx

Ditto Here!

If Chester gets frustrated by it he screams!

Ah thanks :)

I wont worry then

And yeah hes already in a sleeping bag

I had to put bolsters into Harrison's cot as he was banging his head and hurting himself

ive got lyla in grobags, made up i have.shes got a habit (when not in 1) to stick her arms and legs out the crib. still sticks her arms out though.
the only other thing is like a sleep nest thing made by summer i think it sort of boulsters them into staying in the right position.

Once he's big enough to find his own position he'll be safe enough. I've found Austin in bizarre positions in the morning, he's only got his leg stuck in the bars once and screamed so loud! He'll let you know if he's uncomfortable, you don't have to worry about him hurting himself because it's virtually impossible to break a baby's bones (they're really bendy).

the positions get weirder and weirder the more they can move about! kyran was fast asleep on his belly in a star fish position this morning with his arms hanging out the bars one side and his legs hanging out the opposite side, god knows how he got there

oh gosh millie ends up all sorts of crazy positions! lol i think the pic is still up in emergency bunker one of the mad twists!

Asher's got his legs stuck in the bars twice! And both times has cried to let me know.

I know I sound like a bad mummy here, but it was quite funny actually. He'd stuck them both through up to his thighs, and then couldn't get them out again! I wondered what all the raquet was about until I went in to check!

I don't think it's anything to worry about. We don't put him in grobags becuase he likes to have the freedom of movement of his legs. So we use fleecy bodysuits instead.
