Sure Start Maternity Grant

Hmmmm nikki1306 said she gets it and its cause she gets more than £548 a year tax credit, I managed to get on the site ate work and below are the calculations. I did it based on no other income apart from our jobs (which we dont get anyway - i.e pension support etc) so it seems I would get £651.00 a year based on that, which by what other have said would mean I am entitled to the grant :think:

I dont really know what they class as ''low'' income though, mine is £19500 a year and OH is £17500 a year - is that classed as LI does anyone know? Also technically on my pay slips and my contract it states my annual wage is £14k ish (cant rememebr exact) as the rest is the 33% shift allowence, so shoudl I put my pay as the 14k or with the shit allowence included?
