how long urgent advise needed xx

Hi all if just applied for income support and maternity allowance and have to go for an iterview on Thursday to sign the forms etc they couldn't tellme how long it can take to receive a payment have any of you had experience of how long it takes to recieve the first payment also sure start maternity grant how long does that take to receive once applied thanks guys in advance xxx

Sure start grant took about a fortnight I think,maternity allowance takes 3 weeks to process xx

I think my income support took a week or two! Wasn't long! Are you on jsa now? They should carry that on til you get is xx

Nope not on anything its a new claim do.u no how Much I would receive they couldnt tellyy new over the phone they said its based on individual circumstances
