I can recommend Florence too - was so lovely, we saw leaning tower of Pisa and noticied it would be easy to jump on train to Rome - we didn't get chance but would if we went again.
Vienna, Venice, Florence, Rome and Budapest have been my favourite city breaks.
The latter is really interesting. It is split in to more modern side of river Buda, and older traditional side Pest. Amazing gothic architecture, gorgeous outdoor spa baths and amazing scenery.
We also went to the opera there, which is full of old and young alike and was a wonderful experience. We stayed in the spa baths for 6 hours and it was cheap as chips to get in!
They have giant game boards in the water like chess and backgammon, it was such a fun and relaxing day. We went in October and I got sunburn!
xx
I'd highly recommend for something a bit different.
